I could see it being Keane in all honesty. Dermot rated him and is stubborn enough to do it.

 

I think, in all honestly, Keane probably was a geniune candidate to replace Lennon had he left around Christmas time, and I think we probably have interviewed him, but there's zero chance he gets appointed, they have a relative cheap option in appointing Maresca, one who most fans are actually happy with, so they aren't going to go with Keane,

Of course I could be wrong and we go in full destruct mode, as it wouldn't shock me with this club anymore, but I do think it'll be Maresca.

Did Lenny not win us 5 trophies since he got the job in the showers. Won us the quad treble and 8&9 IAR. If rot keane matches lenny's second stint in the club, I'll be happy! Yes this season was a disaster but I don't solely blame Lenny for this. Operation stop the 10. Covid plus a bunch of fannie's downing tools because they didn't get there move away. Yes Lenny had a part to play also but definitely not solely to blame.

It's worrying that Keane is remotely considered to be honest.

It's so far removed from what the fans want and what the club needs to go forward that I just can't believe this board are so out of touch to even waste time talking to him.

Let's just hope the rumours of a Keane and * double act is true..

And they announce that ASAP.
Honestly that's Keane level and likely the sort of club he could maybe do well in, where the players just need a boot up the * most the time to go out to the pitch stoked up.

At Celtic, we need more than that. We need development and proper coaching and tactical skills to be able to organise and play different types of matches, some as top dogs and some as under dogs.

The thing that’s making the Keane rumours more believable to me is the way MO’N was speaking about him before the game. Made it sound like it really is a real possibility.

 

“Operation stop the 10” was kicked off by the board appointing Lennon.

If Roy Keane is as good as Lennon then we’re in for a * miserable experience.

 

Even though I was happy Lennon got the job, how right this comment seems and should be a wake up call aswell.
