I am the only one concerned with S Brown leaving. 2pts

1. Being reported about the with no manager coming in hes leaving. I'd argue being captain he has insight to who is coming in and hes off.

2. Brown needing to be there to help bed new players in (there will be alot off them). His age is moving on but the passion is there to influence new players..

 

Maybe he just wants a new challenge and after 14years here has decided that now is the time?

 

People seriously over rate the role of brown, he’s been the captain of the biggest and richest club for over a decade, it’s almost been impossible not to win. It’s not like he’s been the captain of a diddy club in a massive league over achieving every year.

I wish him all the best but i don’t think the club will feel like they’re missing out unless they hire another diddy manager.

 

One shred of posivity please Celtic. Its not much to ask for. Give the fans what the deserve instead of treating us like brain dead cash machines. Make an announcement of some sort, communicate with the life blood and soul of the ffs!!! Silence is absolutely harrowing from the board.

I can't see it all getting done this summer. Even financially, I'm not sure how viable all of the above is right now.

The top 3, with an interim manager for next season would not be a complete disaster in my opinion. Let the DOF put systems in place and then make a longer term managerial appointment at the end of next season. At the minute you're trying to sell a pipe dream to a new manager with none of the fundamentals in place.

Would prefer any interim manager not to be JK right enough.

You could counteract all that with the £30m UCL cheque awaiting the league winners next season. But this board has never been a fan of the old 'speculate to accumulate'. Charlatans

In true celtic fashion, they will phase out players, with the exception being the loans and probably the sale of either Ajer or Eddie, I don't think we will see massively huge outgoings.

What we might see is guys like Christie maybe McGregor even, go in Jan for a pittance, but not everyone all in one single window.

By and large this is a team who know how to win trophies and with the right system change with a DoF and a Manager who can rebuild and bring us close to domestic level Rodgers had us at, we will be untouchable, we won't win trebles after trebles, but we'd win the league more often than not and easily could go on another 9iar run.

Jesus though, does our defence needs some serious * investment. If we assume Ajer goes, * *. RB needs an overhaul, LB needs an overhaul, CB needs bolstering with Welsh probably rotating with Jullien and arguably, brand new keeper with Bain either long term loaned for 2 years with a cheap buy option or just outright sold.

What are his estimated wages per week? Either way, a massive chunk will be shaved off the wage bill for the rebuild.

im not so sure we will let guys like Ajer, Christie and Eddie run down the last year. We have been poor at asset management recently, therefore with new regime in, it will be sign up or pack up.

we need the funds for a rebuild, but as stated before, Kris is the most important of the three. He’s quite possible the best CB and RB and potentially DM at the club. So we should be moving heaven and earth to keep him, but with those comments from the Norwegian set up, it’s now certain he goes.

Eddie Howe would be decent shout, but if it was to be him, would he not already be through the door already

 

Just think the board should be giving out some statement saying we are presently interviewing candidates and hopefully by the end of April we will announce something .
