Just not John Kennedy. I honestly feared if Livi won the cup, we might have gone after their manager. That’s how highly I think of the board.

Why the * is lawwell still here??? Just * go and let the new CEO get cracking. We have a golden opportunity to get someone in to assess the squad and go into the transfer market knowing exactly what we need, not bumbling about like when normally do. Do it now and have a proper shot at CL qualification! Or do it the Celtic way and wait and wait and wait and wait then do it when it’s too late.

Sadly (And I hope I’m proven wrong) Rafa, Howe and Martinez are way out of our league. I have a major fear McCarthy could be tipped for it.

Think there's zero chance of Kennedy getting the job tbh, honestly I think there's some truth in the Maresca rumours, guess we'll see when our DOF is appointed.

    No danger it’ll be Kennedy.

It will be Maloney with a DoF.

I like him, intelligent guy, and good coach especially if he's been coaching one of the worlds best team all this time.

Don’t think he would have occurred to me tbh honest but he’s doing something...from bbc website.

Cardiff cruise to a big win.

Mick McCarthy's record as Bluebirds boss now reads played nine, won seven, drawn two. Decent.

They're up to sixth thanks to a double from Leandro Bacuna, one from Kieffer Moore and a smashing late goal from Will Vaulks which had him doing cartwheels.

AVB strikes me as one of those manager's who has been winging it for year's and I don't like him..

He's an interesting one, he's never managed a team for more than 18 months. Undeniably incredible at Porto but since then has been living off hype with mixed spells of success. Would probably take him but there's absolutely no way he'd be interested or able to work with our board

I agree - he never seems to stay anywhere too long. Realistically, if we get a manager who really turns us around, its likely that they'll be tapped up from the EPL or abroad within 3 years. I can accept that as long as the club benefits but I get the impression that AVB would be planning his next move with 1 month of starting.

The combination of him and our board has disaster written all over it.

For a guy who’s winging it he has a pretty impressive CV especially at his age.

AVB strikes me as the kind of guy who's been walking out/getting sacked for ages, without ever reaching the heights people are giving him credit for reaching...

A good coach, but not as EPIC as people say.

I'd take him if offered, but I'd not CHOOSE him as my first option

Absolutely * not. No offense mate.

But the guy is a * walloper. His ego is twice that of Lennon's.

He's literally had issues with personnel at EVERY club he's managed. He's also been reported to be very divisive in the dressing room, ignoring players and what not.

He's also the * who claimed, while at Spurs, Salary McMoist was the best manager in Scotland and Rangers were a cert to win the league.

He's a stone cold atrocity. His arrogance is off the charts and he wouldn't last a year at Celtic.

Don't want him anywhere near us.

We need a professional operator who will put results before his ego, and be prepared to work with others to build a new beginning.

He ticks none of those boxes
