Who develops into quality players later in the game but is cheap now! Any Scottish players to be aware of?

Every game can have class regens, so get good scouts and have them look everywhere and they'll have some good youths pointed out to you, the big club come annoying you for them with they are just about to come good then.

Nicolás Millán, 14 Colo Colo €400,000 (Must Buy)
Sherman Cardenas, 17 €750,000 (Must Buy)

If you are in ever need of Striker and you are a reletively small team I always go for Maxi Lopez he's a great player and will score 1-2 Goals for you on average each game.

You have a million in the Scottish Third division? I started with Albion in there with a budget of NOTHING!!! Got promoted first season, then again second season but the First Division was too much so we are back in the second! lol

Rely on a scout, read what he reports, often you can bid nothing for players and it can be accepted, and these be good youngsters

Denilson, a youngster from Arsenal is class. Try and get him on loan.

Oh, I forgot about De La Cuesta. A young-ish Colombian defender. Did brilliant in FM 06, not sure about 07.

My scout is really good - brillaint judgement of player ability and potential plus other good stats.

However he rated a left back highly then when I went to sign him the assistant said I should only purchase him as a last resort? Why is this? And who is right?

Look at your assistant's judge of potential and ability, are they as high?

If you have the time in the window, send the assistant and a scout off to scout him for 3 matches. See what they think thenbut I'd go with the Scouts opinion, 9/10 anyways

I've often signed players and my assistant at the time told me, he's struggle to hold down a spot, 2 months later he admires the players abilities and thinks he's the bomb. Remember, you're the boss your opinion matters more.

If you have the money Aaron Lennon is a immense player he was labelled the next Zidane or Beckham not sure which in mine but he will cost you 5+ Mil but if your lucky you could get him cheaper or on Bosman.
