    I'm not sure what is happening with him at Leicester, Rodgers started two goalkeepers on the bench rather than Benkovic !!
    He does not appear to have a future at Leicester & I expect him to go out on loan again this season.

    If we had 3 of those 5 players mentioned above instead of Christie, Edouard and either of the CBs replaced by Deli, Lovric (or a left winger) and Petrovic we would have won that game yesterday. All three are also over 6ft and capable of helping at set plays.

    Kara probably won’t be a target as we got Giakoumakis but would be worth watching given his contract situation. Bjorkan would improve us at left back as a natural attacking left full back. Again as a secondary point Kara is 6’4 and even Giakoumakis is 6’1 so both offer considerable aerial threats.

    I am not saying height or physical attributes should be the only reason for signing someone but all those players mentioned above are good technical players who happen to also be big which is a glaring weakness of ours. A good number of our defeats to them are due to goals conceded from set plays.

    I'd be buying Ramsay and loaning him back to Aberdeen.

    That's what we'd do if we were ran properly and we're in a position of strength and were planning for the future....

    I see Amad Diallo’s loan from Manchester Utd to Feyenoord has fallen through. If the Jota deal wasn’t done, he’d have been an unreal signing for a year.

    Would be phenomenal if we got Riqui Puig on loan! He's as lightweight as they come, but I love the wee guy and Koeman is being an utter * to him at Barca. Lots of energy, great vision, good technical ability and would suit the Ange system - in offense anyway. Just a dream..

    Although to be honest if he wasn’t Catalan, which seems to enhance his value twofold in the eyes of Barça fans, we’d have a much better chance of landing him on a loan.

    Final day of the window. Edouard and Christie on the verge of leaving which will generate close to £20m. Romano reporting €18/19m for Eddy and others reporting £1m for Christie. Plus I’d imagine that will free up between £30-40k per week on wages.

    We need MORE players and this money should allow us to go and push that boat out. The Derby showed their isn’t much between the teams at all and we have to remember this season is monumental when you consider the automatic CL qualification spot. Also with Ange’s style of play we need a fairly big squad to allow for rotation and injuries.

    I’d like to see the following incomings today:

    Greek ST (Edouard replacement)
    Another ST (Griffiths will be away to Dundee)
    Jota
    LB
    CB
    CM

    Seems a lot to ask for but it’s genuinely what we need. Even if it means bringing in a couple of loans. Lovric would be a huge bonus if we managed to make it happen but can’t see it.

    I think we should go for a double-deal on both Fredrik Bjorkan and Patrick Berg from Bodo/Glimt, fairly young players and Berg can play both CM and CDM, kills two birds with one stone for us.

    Transfrmarket says Bjorkan only has 6 months left on his deal which is odd, but even if that's wrong and he's signed til next Summer we should still be all over it.

    Björkan’s deal will end at the of the Norwegian season, so we should be in negotiations with him now in order for him to arrive for free in January. I’d definitely take Berg too.
