    An amazing programme. It's amazing they get the footage they do.

    When the BBC put the effort in they produce programmes to a higher standard than anyone else.

    Pretty good, but i think im now at saturation point, having watched every episode of every series Dave has done, since Life on Earth in the 70s.

    I still love watching wildlife etc, but i think ive seen one penguin too many, and im now incredibly cynical about the production and editing. I hate the sound effects which are added and im very aware of the London Symphony Orchestra trying to direct my emotions. Spoils it a bit for me now.

    I wish i wasnt so cynical....im sure its my age. Still good viewing though.

    He just ruined it for you, yeah?

    Got to remember MGM, if there wasn't any added sound effects, or the orchestra/music, it would be really dull and lifeless at times. So that in mind - they need to add something, and they aren't exactly going to play the imperial death march or something over the top - though during the hunt scenes, maybe aye.

    I know what you mean regarding the sound effects. Penguins have never really excited me either, I think I found the bit where they shown the crew getting the equipment on/off the island more entertaining! The rest of the programme made for great viewing though, I'll definitely be watching the next one.

    * me...even in here you are attacking the poster and not the post. I feel for you mate....i really do. I would hate to have that amount of bitterness towards someone, even if they annoyed me on a forum, and believe me, you do! The feeling is mutual.....but id rather just blank you, but you seem incapable of that. I really dont know what else to do with you. I hope someone has a word with you.

    Yes, i get that....but like i said, im personally at saturation point and too cynical for my good at times. Its my loss, but ive watched and enjoyed them all multiple times before....and i will watch and enjoy the whole series regardless of my cynicism.
