    At first I debated where Billie-Joe was "cool" enough but * it if we can have Bono we can have Green Day, the band all the cool kids love to hate, but undeniably one of the biggest and best of recent times (i.e the last 20 years, * hipsters forget they had 6 great records out before American Idiot), and the best live band in the world. :50: My favourite band since I was 12.

    Been listening to Green Day all night, found a set of theirs at CBGB's with some old-school * on it hence why I thought this was necessary :)

    Exactly, * morons! 99% of them will have only heard an overplayed single from American Idiot as well, never actually listened to that album front to back, or any of the old stuff!

    :50: my dad grew up a punk and he got me into green day and said he cant believe the lack of interest in them, theyre one of the best bands in the world, actually thought the latest album was good and hopefully theyre going back to their roots :50:
