When you consider that we have had free reign domestically for the last 10 or so years, our record in Europe has been very poor.

To go into many CL qualifier campaigns (our most important part of the last 9/10 seasons) constantly under strength, along with the sheer inability to get deals over the line in time, will be seen as an act of gross negligence.

DD is an utter * but a clever one. He knows Liewell is toxic for most of the support and therefore gave him the tap on the shoulder.

What the Celtic family should know, but seem to overlook, his shares only have value if you keep pouring money into the club. No season ticket sales + no shirt sales = worthless equity. We have all the power here; consider that

Was here a decade longer than he should have been.

Came in, done a tough job cutting costs at the time and made us a financial powerhouse in our relative market.

He outstayed his welcome by a long way, got involved in football matters that hindered the club and developed an ego that was only matched by his renumeration.

You won’t be remembered fondly Lawwell. I’m sure it won’t keep him up at night though.

Let the door hit your * on the way out, cheers.

Wasn’t this common knowledge? We all knew this was happening for months. Diversion tactics off the hook here. Deflect the press away from no signings and a manager on his *. We need changes now because of the complete shambles PL and NL have caused, this is going to take years not weeks to fix, they’ve allowed the rot to set in that long the whole club needs fixed from the academy to the boardroom.

Pretty sure they did die to be fair. In fact just to remind you they died! Died! Died!

We had an easy run to the 9 because they died, you can’t say we never. That’s just a fact.

Talks a lot about his success on the business and balance sheet side. Doesn’t mention anything about the footballing side of it.

Done a phenomenal job for Celtic FC. DD is a hugely successful businessman and if he thought for one minute PL was not up to the job he’d have emptied him long long ago.
The new regime will be given a bit more freedom regarding appointments etc, that’s how DD works. Look at the timing of Rodgers appointment for proof of that.

There have been positives and negatives from Lawwell. Had he left a couple of years ago I think he would have left in a much higher light. The negatives have started to show much more heavily the past year or 2. When you look at the profits made and trophies won I can see why many would say he was successful but also understand why he is detested.

So winning the ten would have been a nothing achievement by your logic. Aye OK.

Diminishing Celtics success because of your dislike of Lawwell is pish poor mate.

How many trophies would we have won in the years prior had they not cheated leading them to liquidation ? You can only beat what's in front of you.

Done a good job but tightness ultimately cost us umpteen times

2009 - refused to sign fletcher and a CB
2014 - appointed a guy and gave him 5 loan singings
    2018 - mcginn debacle

    Good ceo for shareholders.

    Overstayed his welcome

He done an average job over 17 years as far as I’m concerned.
As the richest club in Scotland with the most expensive team we should have achieved more especially when Rangers died. We should have taken more advantage of champs league qualifications, missed out on so many £30 million bonuses from not qualifying due to leaving it to the last day of the transfer market to make signings.

The more I think of him, the more I'm delighted to see the back of him.

Every season we were under prepared for European qualifiers. EVERY season. He came out with * like 'we tried but couldn't get it over the line' whenever signings failed. Strange the huns don't have this issue and qualify at the firs time of asking.

To allow the huns to not only get their foot in the door, but over take us and disappear into the distance is completely unforgivable.

He should've pulled the trigger on Lennon months ago and our season ended as early as October because of a lack of action.

Peter, you let us free fall from a position of strength into a game of catch up. We haven't qualified for any European competition with your help.

    * off.
