    Disagree entirely.

Political persuasions are usually an extension of one's own values and indeed prejudices.

Celtic Football Club 1888 was formed as a charitable endeavour to put food on the tables if those who needed it most. Especially for immigrants of the "Hibernian" persuasion living in some of the poorest conditions in the UK.

Many of us fans, and indeed staff within the club itself are immensely proud of that. It's a part not only of our heritage but our entire ethos.

The word itself, Tory, is derived from "tóraidhe", modern Irish, "tóraí", ie."outlaw", "robber" . Self explanatory in the sense that the Tories have been robbing the poor blind for centuries, and still do today.

If you fail to see that someone of a right wing, colonial, ultra capitalist, anti immigration persuasion, who holds a view of a supremacist societal structure of "me first", then you might do better to * away off to the other side of Glasgow and clap your hands to * Save the Queen.

A more enlightened liberal, or even a base socialist on our board would have scoffed at the idea of furloughing our under 18's and using the overburdened tax payers already desperate wages to pay for them. They probably would have gave up their bonuses too and saved us from yet more * embarrassment.

So do yourself a favour mate.

Sit down and shut the * up.

He was an exceptional Chief Exec for many years. Nothing lasts forever though - things have gone stale.

He's presided over some absolutely horrific decisions going way back to 2007.

He's not been exceptional at all, if anything exceptionally lucky.

Lawwell loves to take credit for everything good at Celtic, and blames the supporters for everything he doesn't like.

The reality is that everything good at Celtic stems from the support, and all our issues are due to Lawwell.

And Lawwell's incompetence prevented them from going bust much sooner, and in probably even worse circumstances.

They should never have won the league in 2008/2009.

Lawwell left us with playing Cillian * Sheridan up front because of the persistent injuries to JVOH and fitness issues with McDonald.

We needed a striker in Jan, instead we went into our reserves :52:

All we had to do was win our last 2 games that season and we'd have been champions. We drew both 0-0.

They got two seasons of CL money in 2009/2010 and 2010/2011.

And yet still went bust in 2012.

    Dreadful mismanagement.

My point was that its only ever something folk start banging on about when the * is hitting the fan, didn't hear much about it when we were sticking 5 past them at ibrox.

Although your history lesson on Celtics origins is exactly correct, it was not required, as a season ticket holder for over 30 years and the son of an Irish immigrant I am well aware of our clubs history, and as it happens I don't disagree with anything you are saying regarding the furlouhing of the U 18's, bonuses etc.

My point again, is people banging on about party politics, when the real issues are that we have a management team that cannot manage and a board of directors who are giving no direction, deflects from the real problems.

IMO what party these guys vote for is not at the top of my list when I'm reviewing their performance for our club and if your being honest tends not to bother most other people until they start failing celtic.

Also your keyboard hardman routine, telling me to * off etc is * poor. We are all celtic fans on here who care about the club and are hurting when things are going as bad as they are, resorting to that sort of pish to fellow fans, who may or may not have a different opinion from you is something I would expect to see from the huns, not us.

Just realised that Lawwell might have played a blinder if it works.
Due to one of our players getting covid in dubai and team having to self isolate, if the league has NOT played 30 games each the season can be null and void if it gets worse. Well done in provoking first minister If it doesnt work, hes a *.

We leave all our buisness up the last possible minute which * us , players coming in unfit , players taking time to settle , the huns have there business or at least 90% done in the first few weeks which is why they usually fly out the traps and we take a few weeks to get going !! This is what has * us for europe most season in the qualifiers !! We should have targets identified and the ball rolling before the transfer window opens !! Not waiting to see whos left or whats available !!

Still can’t believe he had the cheek to say we have been affected the most by the pandemic. Absolute laughable excuse, before Dubai we had it pretty good bar the first Glasgow Derby missing Eddy and a couple others but don’t think it would have mattered on the day. Dubai was all our own doing and even with 13/14 isolating players we still had what would’ve probably had to have been the defence with Julien and Bitton out and we had our main 3 midfielders. Covid cannot be an excuse for our failings this season and anyone that buys into Lawwell and cos claim need to take their head out the sand.

I actually don't think he can survive this disaster of a season thankfully.

Most other times fans have had ire with him, we've been winning trophies, so he was pretty comfy in his ivory tower. Now? there's no fallback for him, he has royally * it this season in multiple ways.

I think him, Lennon, Kennedy and Strachan will all be gone at the end of the season thankfully, Desmond is another issue but it's a good start.
