I do wish him all the best, but he needs to move on as well.

The press must be lacking in stories when the best they can do is go over the Klimala situation time and time again.

I don't think he was good enough for us however, I would have him over Ajeti any day

Well would have kept him over ajeti.

Worked his * off and was chomping a the bit to play and is way more suited to anges style. Energetic and pressing.

If an offer for 3.5m came in for Ajeti had come in I think we would have sold but one came for Klimala and I think we were right to take it.

Always thought he was a player just mind boggling why we signed him as he didn't suit how we played at all.

I thought he would have strived last season if kept. Great work rate. Ajeti should have been gone before him

Didn’t think he was close to being good enough to be honest.

A team came in and basically offered our money back for him, and he hasn't set MLS on fire so I think the right decision was made. A good move for him too.

Can’t believe no top league has picked Vanzeir up, and for that price too is mental

Hapoel Beer Sheva striker Patryk Klimala published a statement responding to criticism after a gesture made on the occasion of the celebration of the goal in the match against Hapoel Jerusalem.

The Pole scored a goal to make it 2-0, then raised his right hand up and greeted the fans. The gesture was immediately associated with the Roman salute with which fascists saluted each other .

The player's behavior is widely commented on in social media. Most netizens accuse him of being careless.

The employer of the 24-year-old decided to react by standing up for him.

Now Patryk Klimala himself took the floor, apologizing for his behavior.

My gesture during the goal celebration was completely misunderstood. As a Pole who respects the history of both countries, I would never even think of doing the * salute.

Living in Poland, I visited the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp and I am fully aware of the importance of the history of Jewish heritage.

After my goal, I just wanted to say hello to our fans. Other than that, it certainly wasn't anything else.

Sorry if anyone took it the wrong way," he wrote on social media

Since his transfer from the United States at the end of January, Klimala has scored three goals
