I do wonder how many of these players are signed just to keep the fans on side. So many players never get a chance here and then moved out on loan and sold.

Christie is bang average in his best position, disgraceful he was picked over Klimala. Think his energy and running in behind would have caused serious problems for them

If he can't get a game tonight then he's never making it here. Sorry.

Dissapointed not to see him start. He would have been a game changer IMO.

The games ive seen him in this seasom, Ive been greatly imperessed. Good finisher and can stick the noggin on a baw, just what we need. We can create chances nae bother but having him sat on the bench whilst thats happening is absolutely criminal.

Don’t agree with ye on the first part at all Christie is bleeding quality in cm and can and has proved it time n time again. He shouldn’t have been played up front at all and yeah I think klimala should’ve started. Lennys having a mare lately

This guy has done from what I can see nothing wrong and has worked really hard, he’s not cheap by Celtic standards either.....3 million

There’s a worrying trend developing in the last few seasons at Celtic where signings come in and within 10 minutes seem to be judged as “not up to it”

Has Klimala even played a full 90 mins?

Lennon has hung him.out to dry.

Wants players who want to be here. Wont play players who clearly want to be.

Figure it out. Cos I cant.

The board need to ask serious questions of Lenny, his recent team selection/performances, how he’s handling the dressing room
And his woeful comments tonight. Throwing people under the bus and basically saying we’re in the * at the minute, instead of playing it coy and trying to deal with things privately

I disagree mate. He gets in because he’s got the best engine. I’d play Ntcham and a half fit Rogic before I played Christie in the attacking midfield role. Start of last season when he played simple football, he played well. These flicks and switch of plays that never come off, he’s got to reel it right back in. I’d play him as a box to box midfielder and I think he has enough of a dig about him to play Broonys role but he’s too greedy in that attacking midfield position for me and he’s never a Striker or Winger

He is never a striker or winger but that’s down to bad management by Lenny playing him there. I really like him box to box aswell and probs would have Ntcham in the 10 with Ryan there but he’s far beyond average. His engine yes is his best asset my but look at his goals and assists and the amount of games he changed for us since getting into the team 2 years ago. Stupid to claim he’s average in his best position tbh. In fairness aswell bud his “greed” got us the goal tonight and led to our goal the weekend. Last two games he wasn’t his best, by quite a bit I think but like I said not his fault he’s been played out of position

Was punched hard in the face last night by Lennon. The boy has worked his bollocks off throughout lockdown, through pre season and has been extremely sharp when called upon so far. If I was him I'd be wondering what I have to do

See this pish about him not being match fit as well? Here's an idea Neil, why don't you give him more than 13 * minutes when we are coasting against Icelandic part timers?

    Such a weak excuse.

Feel absolutely gutted for the lad, like others have said worked hard during the lockdown and ore season and looks in great shape.

Lennon’s inability to make subs or change the line up, has not given others the “MATCH FITNESS” they need.

I don't even think it's a real excuse. I think it's just bullshit from Lennon. Klimala has featured enough to have a level of match fitness, that could have seen him play last night in some capacity. With Ajeti coming in he'll have been trying his best in training, given his positive attitude.

He's had more match fitness than anyone in the Ferencvaros side..

    It's a pathetic excuse..

Another project signing that isn't given a chance. Would love to have the time to make a list of them all and how many have worked out or not even played more than a handful of games.

Our scouting is rank rotten. But the manager is the one with the end say, or so you would hope, and he knows what we need yet still we end up with guys like Amido Balde, who a blind guy could see was a terrible, clumsy player from watching him for ten minutes. Bad feeling this boy is the same.

Last night was a kick in the teeth for the guy, his attitude has been first class, at least give him an opportunity to show what he can do.

Klimala clearly wants to be here - look at the effort he's put in over lockdown. Surely Lenny isnt talking about him. We should not be spending 3.5 mil on a player who isnt good enough to play against Ferencvaros (not that I think thats the case).
