    Guy couldn't speak English 6 months ago and was a lightweight. Now he's bulked up and speaks better English than me.

    I would like to see him and Eddy up front still, see how that plays out. With the qualifiers 1 legs I think we won't get the chance to give him competitive starts and practice but hopefully game time against Hamilton and Ross County.

    Totally agree, sometimes with teams sitting back late in a game you need to just hump it forwards, having that option can get extra points.

    Great to see him come on, the whole squad change was good to be honest.
    He put a shift in, pressed hard for the goal and got his reward.

    His hard work over the lockdown is good as well and should please Lennon after the latest events with Griffith's (unfortunately).

    Hope he gets some good game time at the weekend again, more because he deserves it than just squad rotation.

    CELTIC were held to a well-contested 1-1 draw with Nice in France last night (Thursday), in a pre-season match that saw Patryk Klimala hit his first goal for the Hoops.

    Odsonne Edouard had an early goal disallowed when VAR ruled Ryan Christie to have committed a foul in the build-up, before Kasper Dolberg put his side in front on 38 minutes.

    After the hour mark, Neil Lennon replaced his entire starting XI, and 13 minutes after that again, substitute Klimala showed great determination to close down Nice goalkeeper Teddy Boulhendi, force an error, and stroke the ball home to bring the scoreline level.

    “I feel good,” said the Polish striker after the game. “I told you in our previous interviewthat I feel good and I feel ready. I hope that I showed that against Nice, and I hope that in the next game against Lyon I can show the same. I’m pleased with my overall performance.”



    Klimala added: “I’ve waited for my chance, six months. I maybe wasn’t ready in the past, but now I am ready. Against Nice, I got the chance to score and I took it. Hopefully our manager and my team-mates can be proud of that.

    “In terms of tactics, I understand everything at Celtic. In the beginning it was hard but now I feel comfortable. I’m happy, that’s it. This is the start and hopefully there is more to come!”
