Purposeful play and learning through play are the current 'hot topics' of early years education and there's plenty to read up on that which you could use within the home yourself without having to pay for any additional tuition. Personally, I'd just comfort yourself knowing that every child is different and every child develops at very different rates, whilst there are benchmarks in place that suggest where a child should be at each level of the curriculum, I wouldn't be getting too hung up on that just now. There are also various stages throughout primary school where children take quite big jumps in their development, particularly emotionally, often around P4/P5 which will more than likely give a better indication of what additional support, if any, she will need going forward towards high school.

There's a really long but quite interesting and useful report here:

If you get bored quickly skip towards the end where's there are a lot of recommended activities that you could do at home, even if you have to adapt them somewhat.

Best thing at that age is to get their brain going by reading to them (famous 5 and all that, get down the library), and playing with counting toys (you can get a wee abacus or cash register from early learning centre or ikea or somewhere like that).

Do it regularly and make sure you're actually spending time with the child doing it. Don't let them play with ipads for hours on end every day. Try and set aside an hour or two each day for actual person to person activities.

Creative stuff is good for getting their brains working as well, paints, plastecine, the wee kiddy musical instruments you get from the kind of shops i mentioned above. Don't be afraid to whip out a tambourine and a couple of maracas and sing with your kid, wee songs like the kieran tierney song is great when you've all shaking tambourines and what not. Even a plastic tub full of dry rice can be used to improvise.

There are good things on ipads as well like wee jigsaw games and that but make sure you're spending time with the kid and talking to them, challenging them to do stuff. It might even be fun for you as well.

When my lad was a nipper many moons ago we got into the ritual of tea, bath then 20 minutes with some flash cards (words & numbers) before bedtime. Just got him used to things & gave him a little help.
Instead of the cards I’m sure you could probably get an interactive flash card app for your iPad to make it more entertaining for the little one.
    Good luck.

Edit: Kids are great imitators, if they see you reading or writing in a pad, they’d love to join in & copy.
