    Yes in my opinion one of the best things out there in the last few years,series 3 kicked off yesterday on Amazon Prime and is still in fine form:84:

    Sure there is a thread on here for it.

    I've watched the first 2 seasons so gonna continue with it for now. Apparently the story moves away from Scotland though which is pish. Kind of putting me off watching it long term.

    Only reason I started it in the first place was the Jacobite connection. Really interesting period of Scottish history.

    Brianna kinda annoys me - bit over-acted I think.
    Supposedly Hannah James - Geneva Dunsany in S3E4 - was considered for the part of Brianna - has a pretty strong resemblance to Claire I think
    But they went with Sophie Skelton with the red hair connection.

    James might also have been thought a bit old - although Geneva was supposed to be only 18 in that episode.
    I had to look her up - it was driving me crazy where I'd seen her before (although the resemblance to Claire was distracting me, thinking it was just because of that) - but she played in a US Civil War drama called Mercy Street, which was actually a very good series

    I stopped watching it when the guy started greeting cos he enjoyed being gay raped a wee bit.
    Bit of a girls show but was OK up till that point I thought.


    ...I assume they where tears of joy anyway?

    Have to say Season 3 has been a disappointment for the most part for me. Not sure where it is going next but season 3 overall was pretty average and nowhere near the level of the first 2 seasons which I really liked.

    Outlander is pish. Very cheesy and very historically inaccurate. Clearly a show made for the American audience

    Well it's based on fictional books so bound not to be accurate in many cases.

    I think it does ok tbh in terms of the rebellion, how they would have dressed, the outcomes etc.

    Well..... aye. Its so cheesy its unreal. If you want to watch something more historically accurate about time travel then Back to the Future would be better. I cringe every time I see Outlander on the telly.

    The First Series was pretty good,the 2nd one good at first but faded the last one was very poor,i may not bother now
