I am not part of this new forum, that is because I dont bother with,and have no desire to spend hours discussing sensitive subjects(not often anyway), i look at TC as a bit of fun.
At the same time, i think it is a great idea, some folk love serious debates and they should have somewhere that they can do this, without the risk of an immature or annoying person ruining it.
Too many people in this thread are taking this out of context,so come on, chill out, it is not a slur on the rest of us.

 

I just got an infraction because of my post in regards to this, unbelievable! and was told to go * myself by an administrator, did this person get an infraction...i doubt it!

 

I hope you don't mean that being young automatically means you're immature.
I think it would be fair to say that although I'm fairly young (19), that doesn't automatically mean that I'm immature.

Also the forum seems like a good idea.
There's a few more sensitive things that I'd love to have a discussion over.

 

No, mate, i probably should have omitted the "young" word.
It isn't always younger folk who struggle with the immaturity issues.
In fact, i shall edit it just now.

 

I would like to be in ,cos i do like a good read at good threads and think i can debate with others in a reasonable manner ,but not to be .

 

No, go * yourself Dempsey. This kind of elitism is not in the spirit of Celtic Football Club who's message is of community and acceptance, not announcing "we're more intelligent than you, we made a forum for us intelligent people and you're not allowed in" you can try and justify it all you want but that's all this boils down to.

If you truly want people to respect one another than respect us enough to not exclude the majority.

 

Maybe there should be a charge then, like the GM. You don't mind being a GM which excludes those who are tight or skint.

It's not elitist, it's for those who want a serious discussion.
Too many * ruin good threads. It's not for those who are considered more intelligent than others, just those who show they are more responsible and can hold a serious discussion.

If you were included in the first wave of members I don't think you would be complaining. You're just kicking off cos you are not one of the chosen ones. :icon_mrgreen:

How about, you dont have a * clue what you thinking you are arguing about. How about you read the social charter and acceptable conduct policy of the club before you even attempt to tell me what Celtic is and isnt about.

I think the Lisbon Lions forum is a good idea. The ignorance and narrow mindedness on display in some threads are an embarassment

Will there be more members given access to the LL forum in time as I'd like to get the chance to post in there.

 

As said before, membership is reviewed on a ongoing basis, the current list doesnt reflect our opinion of our members

 

Here here this is the absolout reason i spend most of my time putting all these post counter,s in there place, but i would love a place to have a mature conversation about all thing,s celtic and footie in general.:bbpd:

 

I should have a good shout tbf, i owned martin in the depression thread without being a * about it, also had input into other topics but i get the feeling i wont get anywhere near the new forum due to some members disliking me.. *NO NAMES*
