    Optimistic predictions for Celtic

Celtic has managed to beat the Rangers, and the news has been causing for heaving, non-stop celebration for many a pub in Glasgow. And the reasons are plenty - the club is only a day away from playing a team they won against only a month ago, and they only need one point to be crowned the champions of this year! What else can we say other than “Yes, we cannot wait for what is about to happen!”.

There are many out there looking to make some kind of pessimistic predictions, saying rubbish like “The Celtic were lucky to beat the ranger”, but the truth of the matter is, the club has not been closer to winning before. A number of predictions by some of the more reliable sources are saying that the team has a good chance at winning the game tomorrow, which is already exciting, but also getting the one point they need to end up winning the entire thing. So what are the chances
Well, the chances are there, but it is hard to say what the chances are right now. In a recent discussion, some ESPN pundits pointed out that the team might be just lucky to have gotten where they are. And this is true - the team did manage to push all of their luck in order to win the game. It was a good decision, managerially, to bring in Lennon, especially after Rogers made the decision to up sticks, even if the “triple treble” goal was set for the team. Without Rogers and with Lennon in, the chances were higher than ever. The fans might have been a little worried and a little disappointed, but, as many says, ends justify the means. And the ends are exciting indeed. Having won against the Rangers, Celtic now only has to play Aberdeen and win the much-coveted one point.

We are all aware of what happened in the Celtic-Aberdeen games about a month ago. A 3-0 victory that Aberdeen will be looking vengeance for, but that the Celtic will try to go for one more time. Now the only thing is, what are the chances of it happening?

Well, some are saying the chances are pretty high, and we are pretty convinced of the same. It is entirely possible for the team to play at as high a level as they did previously and win, even if Aberdeen will now have 11 players instead of the 10 they had last time. But the odds are tougher and the game will be tougher as well. One player is worth a lot in a game and chances are that not as many goals will be made in tomorrow’s game. But that is not something we are worried about since we do not need that many goals in order to be able to win.

There are those who are a little worried though. Even despite the last two championship victories, there are those who believe that the games have gotten tougher than ever before and now the Celtic will be facing tougher competition. While they are still close to victory, they are not as far ahead as they used to be, and Aberdeen is back to being better. All it will take for the Celtic to lose is one mistake, and hopefully, that one mistake will not be happening any time soon. (Source)
