Just a pause before the standard forum board panic sets in.

We have been on * fumes in the league for weeks. Won the league cup, great. Still wasn’t impressed with the performance tbh.

This result has been coming - draws will happen.

Boxing Day, 3 points, time to get players in and players back.

Tonight was * AWFUL. But it comes as little surprise.

It’s time now to just focus on the next fixture, and get to the post-break in a better position.

    it’s a setback - without question - but let’s chill, please.

Gone to the well one too many times, it’s clear we need 7 at least to be considered a quality squad, we were relying on a player upfront who’s been playing lowland league

Tonight's a sickener already far too many cheap points dropped this season and we've gone and dropped more while the huns just keep on winning, needed to at worst keep the gap at 4 points imo before getting reinforcements in January and we've failed to do so.

Our performances, for the most part, have been pretty * for weeks on end. Scraping past teams we should be comfortably beating.

This winter break being brought forward is a * send.

We have been poor for weeks. There’s no escaping that. It’s not like we are drumming teams convincingly.

The jota absence is keenly felt - that’s what quality players do. Rogic has that quality, but is exhausted. Kyogo needs a break but is incredible.

Our best 3 are shot to * tbh.

Need to get to January and take it from there.

we need half a * team in january just to have decent squad depth and we're now in a position where as it stands 19 games out of 19 must be won to win this league.

First thing we need to do is sign someone who can score a free kick and someone who cans core with his head at a * corner, the amount of set pieces we throw away nowadays is pathetic. we used to score from set pieces constantly, how have we * up such a basic concept so bad.

It's been coming but it's awful timing. If we kept the pressure on Rangers, they might have felt the necessity to accept offers over the window. Now they may feel it's worth gambling on CL money to stay out the red.

    It's definitely been coming..

Been * it in plenty game's near the end as we can't finish or put team's away. Barely ever any daylight bar Tannadice..

Honestly think tonight was a crippler. Even more-so by the fact St Mirren had a second string mixed with some kid's playing..

Can anyone see us no dropping quite a few more point's in game's like that where team's camp in?

I might look at it differently in a day or two but they are well and truly in the driving seat now..

Tonight and Livi at Parkhead when we missed the penalty will be the 2 I look back on at the end of the season if it's close it's criminal we're not 4 points better off from those games

We are dead on our feet.

Look at the state of that starting 11 tonight and the bench.

Guarantee if any one of you had been told back when the season started that'd we'd be fielding line-ups like that in December you'd be thinking we had some sort of huge covid outbreak.

I knew we wouldn't come through December unscathed, there are simply too many games and in our cases a frightening lack of bodies.

I'd take 1-0 against St Johnstone now.

Yeah there is a long way to go, correct. But we now need to beat they * 3 times (haven't beaten them once in 2 years), not drop points against average * teams, which have done a lot of.

Tonight's a reality check. Squad is weak, medical side isn't there yet either. The huns are rancid horrible inbred *.....and they're 6 ahead and have proved they will do whatever they can to win the league. This season is no different for them, incentivised by CL 40m bounty.

And....with a threadbare average squad, we still.have another away game before the break. That's the harsh reality.

I think people are overreacting, as it’s only six points.

However, even if we do beat them in the upcoming game, we won’t win the league unless a large whack is spent in January.

History says the manager won’t be backed, but there seems to be very loud rumours he will.

It has been coming for a while and i doubt its over yet, with our luck we are due some positive tests.
Im wondering if watching these games without jota, kyogo or forrest will make the manager rethink who he needs to be signing next month.

    * right it is.....but we've * it enough times this season against Livi x2, Utd St Mirren to be ahead. That's nothing to with running on fumes or being light in the squad. Massive January ahead followed by a flawless 2nd half of the season. Probably too.much to ask just now. Fingers crossed.

In the cold light of day when the feeling of being * off passes and with clear head, we are in a better place then we thought we would be this season. Couple of players in Jan will make the world of difference if they are anywhere near jota or kyogo quality.

Said as soon as the window close we’d be doing well to be within touching distance by January considering the board completely flung him under the bus leaving him with the squad in that state.

Never thought we would win the league because there was far too much turnaround and far too much to do. Said it’d be more of a case of us losing the league because of our squad catching up with us rather than the Huns winning it.

Heading in the right direction and he’s got this squad overachieving but * me do we still need a massive clear out. Players who aren’t good enough like Taylor, Turnbull, Starfelt etc. are still levels above the players we had playing tonight.

Only reason he will be backed this window and not the summer is because he wants more players from Japan. January has always been a dire window for signings. Lets hope the rumours/reports are true.
