    We would be getting the better end of the deal if we sold Ajer for £20m and bought this guy for £8m-£10m. He's good. Always been impressed when I have watched him.

    I’d argue we need another CB for cover even if Ajer stays. If we are playing 3 at the back, they will get game time.

    If Ajer does go, I don’t think we need to spend in the region of £10m on a replacement. We could probably get a decent CB and LB for £10m.

    If Ajer stays we have El Hamed, Bitton and Welsh as cover which I think is enough.

    Looks quick. Decent on both feet. Tenacious in the tackle. Doesn't seem to let many by him. Plays on the left..

    Don't believe the link really but he doesn't look too bad on YouTube. Playing against top quality in Serie A and you can see a bit more of his ability going forward from his time in Scandinavia..

    Would probably do quite well for us and a good age..

    It sounds like a similar situation with him with what we had with Jullien. Seems like he was pretty meh last season and they want to get rid of him, albeit I think Sampdoria had a poor season in general.

    I think £10 million for him is a bit steep, feel like we could get him for around 7, or at worst a loan to buy for around 8, main issue is we wouldn't be replacing like for like with Ajer, this guy might be a better defender but there's no chance he can do the mazy runs ajer gives us.

    Copenhagen just signed Ikonomou from AEK who had a couple of good games against us so maybe they are anticipating losing one of their CB. (He’s left sided and could have been a decent signing).

    On Nelsson he was very good at Celtic Park but got torn to shreds over there we should have been 3 or 4 up inside the first half hour of that game.
