Basically someone in goals and the two or more outfield have to score 3 headers 3 volleys and 3 half volleys into the same keeper and if they did then you got the ball pelted aff yer *

The goalie would swap when whoever hit the shot either put it wide or over twice or the goalie caught the header or volley without it hitting the ground

 

Grand National. Jumping every hedge in the street.

We used to kid on we were jumping somebody to get cars to stop then run away. Never had a name.

 

I remember this.

 

Class. We used to do that too. Once I managed to convince a passer by that my pals were bullies that had jumped me and the guy chased them down the street.

Sometimes we would pretend we were pulling an imaginary rope from either side of the street and laugh at any cars that stopped as well.

 

Forgot about that. Easy to forget how much of a wee * you were when you were young

 

Worst time for me was the time me and my pals egged a taxi, and the guy got out and chased us across a building site.

The taxi driver had the last laugh as he stood and watched us all wading knee deep through the wet cement of the freshly laid foundations.

Every so often I remember we played a game called ‘In yer Hoose’

Was basically like Chappie but you open the door, jump in, shout am in yer hoose and do the bunk.

Stopped it after a guy was standing in his hallway. * horrific game when you get older and remember it

 

Remember there was one guy that would go to a random house and ask for a piece'n'jam. Always one that would do anything daft you dared them to do.

Building dens. There was a belter. Trying to get a burd back to it

My brother's built a bogey or two and we made cross bows and arrows wore socks on our hands when it was snowing happy days, nostalgic, weans have got paddling pools now we just used to dive into the canal or off the waterfall at Dalmuir Park mind you it's good that kid's don't do that now, my childhood was full of dangers

 

A whoomfa when ye got an old plastic pipe then chucked it into the grass to get a big dod of muck then fire it at windows used to go for miles
