Just got netflix and i'm watching The Horde, so far so good.

 

My zombie books minus Zombie Brittanica (forgot that one.)

 

Two new "reviews" posted on my blog thing.

28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later (already saw though)
Deadgirl (at 46%... hurry up !!)

Dawn of the dead

Any of the last 3 decent ? Dawn of the dead is the 2004 one.

 

Fido is decent. Whole different aproach to the genre (controllable zombies)) and it's got Billy Connolly playing Fido.

Dawn Of the Dead is a remake that kind of surprised me at the time. It's actually pretty good, although fast zombies...still not too sure about them.
Not bad at all.

Deadgirl - No idea I have been looking for that one for a while tbh. Where did you get it from?


Others that you might enjoy are: DEADHEADS, THE REVENANT, WASTING AWAY. All 3 more like a zombie comedy but very entertaining.

Although technically not a zombie movie (just like the 28 Days Later movies) but very entertaining is the remake of George A romero's THE CRAZIES

I've saw The Crazies... can't remember it much tbh though, think I quite liked it but. I'll have a look for the other 3 on PB mate, cheers.

Started replaying the original Resident Evil on the PS1 this week. When do I get a notice of complaint from the SFA for shooting the zombies?

P.S Forgot how * hard this game is lol

 

Deadgirl is one * up film.

 

I love Silent Hill for the PS1

No I wouldn't say so I thought the story was poor and filled with plot holes and the ending was terrible in my opinion, oh and there's also all the zombie rape

 

Whats 28 Days Later like? Never seen it.

 

28 days is a good film but not a zombie film. They are not walking dead they are infected with rage.

 

28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later were both really good movies. Definitely worth a watch, but as Gabberhead said above, they aren't really zombie movies as such (not in the same context as Day of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead etc).

Still definitely worth a watch like I say though

 

Surely it's a bit of a grey area ?

Most of the time it just takes a bite for it to happen, not actually dying then returning as a zombie.

 

Zombies have been forever changed in my eyes

 

Gonna watch this beauty tomorrow night.
