If we do sell him Giakoumakis isn't a good enough replacement we need to go out and buy another proper forward for good money similar to Eddie as Griff & Ajeti by looks aint gonna cut it.

    We will miss him.

What's worse, we have Ajeti and Griffiths hanging about like a bad smell.

There's no guarantees the new Greek Striker will have the same impact. I'm worried he'll be a new Bayo.

Im actually not that worried about it, Kyogo is frightening through the middle and a big upgrade on Edouard as a lone striker. Whoever comes in shouldn't be a starter and if anything it's not bad that its a guy with height who is good in the air.

Our attack now is quite fast paced and exciting and Edouard doesn't fit into it for me, he's not clever enough on the ball and he's essentially blind to whats happening around him. Kyogo, Abada, Rogic, Turnbull, Forrest and McGregor probably are frustrated playing with him - they are all quite clever one touch players who pass and move into space well and then theres Edouard who just reacts at random and breaks things down and slows them down. These goals Abada and Kyogo are scoring sprinting into the box, Edouard could have Neymar, Riquelme and Messi feeding him and would still never be making runs like that.

I would also punt Ajeti and Griffiths though and go for another striker, maybe even a young loan guy who is more of a runner a Weah or Klimala type as I think they would be best for when Kyogo plays on the left.

Eddy made a difference when he came on last night. We were getting bogged down but he gave us the option to get the ball up to him to hold up. It was his best performance for quite a while, he will be missed as we don't have anyone else near his quality to replace him unless this Greek forward turns out to be bargain of the century.

If Edouard leaves I'd rather we spend big on a LW rather than a ST, I'd be happy with Kyogo and Giakoumakis as our Strikers, just go out and get Lovric or somebody similar with the money.

Agree with especially the last part.

I can't see us signing the Greek AND another striker unless Griffiths, Edouard and Ajeti are all shown the door. I'm not against that situation tbh.

I read it as another 2m signing that does nothing.

Great player no doubt but if the right offer comes and it allows Ange to bring in a couple more quality first-team players to round off the squad then it makes sense. Eddy out, Giakoumakis, Quality winger and centre half in whilst getting Christie on a new deal and Id be taking my hat off to Celtic on the rebuild job done.

Replacing Edouard with Nesbitt is like replacing Katy Perry with Janey Godley

    Picking the right options.

To me he is highly skilled and quality on the ball but his footballing brain is average at best both on and off the ball.

He'll delay shots when he should shoot, when theres an obvious pass on he will continue running, when someones playing a one two and running in he'll take the ball and turn the other way. He's never thinking and never noticing anything.

He's still good as he is that highly skilled but if he was switched on he'd be worth £100million not £20m. He'll be a Nani or a Robinho or Vinicius or those types at best because he's not clever enough to be a Hazard or Robben. Not that he plays their positions or will be as good as them or anything just thinking of guys who are good and skilled but they just enjoy being on the ball and doing things but do the wrong thing all the time which makes them not as good as they could have been.
