He'll he gone 100%, most likely we might need to compromise with the fee so teams seem more likely to pay his wages, but he won't be here by the end of the window.

As said above, it’s hard to imagine us spending much more money if Edouard stays.

 

Villa just went and spent 25m on Danny Ings, a tried and tested player in the PL with 36 goals in the last 2 seasons.

I'm sure clubs would like to sign Eddy. He's a good player with potential.

But he wouldn't start for any PL club. Not Brentford (Toney) . Not Villa. Not even Brighton (Maupay).

The question for PL clubs is whether they want to spend €20m on SPFL to sit on their bench or wait until January and take a less expensive gamble.

Based on his form over the last 18 months, and the fact that he's still a Celtic player, now sitting on our bench, I think clubs are willing to wait until January and get him for 10m or less.

I just don't want it to be like the Boyata situation, where we let a player go for free rather than taking 10m.

I agree the funds in are probably needed to sign a few players.

But if he stayed and left for nothing next season, and we are in the group stages of the CL, having won the league, thats like reaping in 30mill. If he goes and we come second, again, the money raised from him going will have been spent, and no 30Mill.

 

Plenty of teams want him but the £20M fee will put a lot of teams off in his current form.

McBurnie cost £20M so teams should be tripping over themselves to pick Eddy up, a move will rejuvenate him and still think he’ll turn out to be a top player.

If he bothered turning up and put a shift in then clubs would be queuing up to buy him but his pathetic attitude is killing that move . Why do we always sign the sulky gits !

 

If we have a sell on fee with PSG all money we make off Edouard is included in that. So anything we make off that 50% would be subject to the sell on fee.

 

He'll be gone this window, I wouldn't worry..

He wants to go, we want him to go now, we want the money to reinvest in signings..

 

Celtic wont shell out £7 million or so on a striker (as has been reported) unless we get money in for Edouard, that is the most worrying thing. We need to get rid of him asap and get a quality striker in who wants to be here. It will be sickening if he decides to hang around and rob us of a transfer fee while putting in no effort. If that was to happen he is in danger of becoming a hate figure to many of the Celtic support. For the good of everyone concerned he needs to go asap.
