Whilst I think he made the wrong call starting Bitton, Ange's choice to drop Edouard was bold and worked out, clear to me Edouard doesn't want to be here anymore, hopefully he's gone soon.

 

I thought it was Edouard that was holding up the deal ?

 

Apparently Brighton hadn’t bid and weren’t even interested a couple of days ago.

Starting to think he’ll be here till January to be honest.

 

Needs shifted so we can start our rebuild of still to bring in at least 6 players

Sell, invest cash on LB, RB, Lovric, Nesbit, Mcann, Itakura and Davies on loan.

 

McCann would be a waste here. Would never have the time on the ball playing for us that he gets at St Johnstone. He’d also just be another Rogic/Turnbull in terms of physicality.

We’re sorted in the midfield now, for me:
McGregor, McCarthy, Turnbull, Christie, Soro, Shaw and Robertson. That’s plenty depth. Connell’s still here too, while not necessarily the required level yet. Add in Lawal (whom we could transfer from the B team), and it’s well seen that this is the deepest area of our squad - by far.
