Was poor when he came on, but he's not a lone striker, never has been and never will be, plays his best football with someone up with him and that someone has to be a striker not a number 10 in a 3511. Also don't think he looks fit.

He aint gonna be begging for a move to Brighton, Palace or Villa who could well be relegated this season.

Serious selection issue for Lenny on Thursday now with Ajeti injured.. think it would of been no brainer starting Ajeti but I doubt lenny will go with Klimala or Griff... something is not right with Eddy.

Showing the defenders too much of the ball and getting predictable cutting back on his right. Needs to play simple football for now. Think he came into it a bit more near the end now. Him and Ely were linking up well

He did, first player off, caught him going down the tunnel, sure there may have been another player too.

Times reporting Sources close to Celtic insist he won’t be sold this window.

Hoping he can recapture his best form if he is still here once the window closes. With the injury to Ajeti we could really do with an up to speed Eddy.

Tough game for him, found himself crowded out but stuck with it. Needs a recognized strike partner.

Needed that goal. Thought he came into the game a bit more after it and looked more confident

Watch him come alive against the huns and kick on from there. Big goal tonight, nice one big man.

Was noticeably better after getting the goal but I have never seen him get the ball taken off him as easy as it has been off late.

He did look to be limping a bit as he walked round the pitch to the bench. I don’t know if that was just his way of walking he is that laid back.

Goal got us through but lethargic otherwise.

Done my nut in when Ely got the ball over to him with a defender to beat and he was on his heels with some half-arsed hold up play to then lose the ball. Ely didn't look happy with it.

Basically only time hes's scored a proper centre forward's * tap in haha.

Sadly only the Europa League but that goal could ensure he stays here.

Aye he's deffo showing too much of the ball to the defender when attempting to go at them. Doesn't look as quick either or as confident..

His hold up play and as mentioned above, his actual use of the ball when running (or jogging rather) at a defender....is poor just now..

His pressing from the front is a drastic drop off compared to Ajeti also..

Hopefully the window shuts and he regains focus....IF that's what's in his mind.....or * off the French under 21's and gets over any niggles he has..

Not being more of a goal poacher at times is something I’ve criticised him for before, but fair play to him tonight. I didn’t think he played well at all and his fitness/sharpness seems to be a real concern, but he got himself into the right position at the right time to score a crucial goal. Hopefully he kicks on.

Going through a window and not losing a big name player, especially with crashing out the CL, would be fantastic. I still think Ntcham will leave before the window shuts but keeping Ajer and Eddy is huge.
