I don't think anyone will meet our valuation at the moment.

    I think it'll come in a few week's..

The other problem is if Ajeti keeps banging them in and Griff gets fit....we may feel like we can let him go and get the big bucks without a big backlash...due to Ajeti mainly..

You know I was going to say hope to * the contingency isn’t getting Griff fit. He’s shown he’s unreliable.

The only reason I think he’s still got a chance is because his wage isn’t the highest, he could potentially be a 30 plus striker and he does come in handy at certain points in the season.

We need to be strong around it, if there's an offer we can't refuse then so be it. But, would rather that happened sooner rather than later, if it does.

Aye if Ajeti is fit and smashing it, which is likely and Griff gets back to some sort of form...then the board may feel we can cash in..

    Plus Klimala in reserve..

Hope no but the warning signs are there. Alarming Eddy has wanted to be left out a couple of time's now and Lenny didn't convince me he was going nowhere..

We were robbed of a real Eddy and Dembele partnership. Hope it doesn't happen with Ajeti and Eddy..

Warning signs are there im afriad , backing out 50 50s , although could be protecting an injury which i spotted his last game , and would tie in with pulling out this wknd game .
But I feel since he has not signed after hearing positive sounds ,then there is a strong chance he knows who are after him and is protecting that instead .

This is Celtic you’re talking about, we’ve been going in to CL qualifiers needing players for the last half decade.

I can't see Eddy being sold, would be mental with 10 in a row on the horizon. Only if he downed tools and went mental wanting to be sold will it happen but I don't see him doing that either seems to chill a character.

We had no contingency for Dembele leaving despite us talking about 2 year cycles since 6 months after he arrived.

We've taken more than 3 months to source a LB/LWB and still don't have one, I have no faith that we would be able to get in an Eddie replacement within a matter of days.

If he goes it will be right at the end of the window like Dembele and Tierney before him and every club we then approach for players will know we're cash-rich and bump up their price. History has told us that Lawwell would rather go without and leave the team short than overpay for a player.

I’m 100% sure buying Eddy for £9m was that contingency.

The only reason I’m not really worried is he is just back from injury, it’s not that unusual

I still feel like if he was leaving, he'd be gone by now.

The way I see it,next year there will be be a plethora of clubs after him, most likely including Arsenal, Lyon etc. We've probably told him to stay another year and he'll get a bigger move.

We went into a 60+ game season with 2 recognised strikers and ended up having to go to Ibrox with Mikey Johnston up front after both of them were unavailable.

I hope our contingency is better this time round.

I cnt believe I'm writing this I would be gutted if he was doing this because he doesn't wanna be here and knows there's clubs after him but if he is then punt him and reinvest into the team to solidify the 10 no point begging someone to stay if his heads turned.

That being said I don't believe any of it he would already be away if that was the case big man just needed a rest
