    You would think if he was going to become No.7 they would have made a big deal out it and combined it with the announcement of a new contract. We went way over the top doing that with Roberts when we got him back on a loan, so surely would be making a massive deal if our star striker was taking the number and staying?

    It’ll cost them a fortune if they sell Edouard 22 tops then need to change the number afterwards.

    So they really need this deal done before August ..

    I was certain that Eddie was going to leave this summer but with how quiet things have been, how involved he is in the photoshoots for the Adidas gear and from the big grin on his face I am starting to believe he just might stay...

    It will take a special bid and maybe this season clubs won't fork out 40m for him at this time.

    He looks happy and settled and will continue to improve.
