Big, strong, fast, good link up play, great movement and work rate he never stopped for 90 mins which is very impressive considering he's barely kicked a ball for the 1st team. He has big potential.

 

Thought big man looked very lean yesterday compared to his debut! Hope the 3 of them can stay fit and we can have a great selection just a pity we can’t play with 2 uptop! I remember him and Moussa up front against hibs and it was bad tbh in the 2-2 game

 

Would love to have three strikers of this quality all on permanent contracts. But again you have to ask if a young man like him would want to sign permanently for us to be a third choice striker in the Scottish League. I think he'd sign for a mid-table French side before he would do that..................but we'll see

 

i have wondered if getting beat 12-1 off his parent club would have been somewhat off putting for him as a permanent move. not that he would have been under any illusion in the gulf between the clubs but getting beat by that ammount was unfortunate.

I think if dembele leaves for a big move he would be tempted though

 

Not sure what source it was from but on bbc Scottish football gossip page yesterday it said Brendan hinted we could move for him permanent and that odsonne would be delighted to make his move from psg permanent. Could be * but he seems happy, he can see the good it done for a talent like dembele moving here permanent

I can see it panning out the same as the Roberts situation. The most we'll do is another year's loan....thats if he keeps impressing. Celtic have the money now, but are still unwilling to pay around the £10m fee for one player. The board are petrified to over-speculate when improving the squad. You can understand this stance. But whats annoying is players like Roberts and possibly Edouard are basically guarenteed to make you a profit even at buying them around the £10m mark. They are young enough that there's no way their value will decrease....teams in England will always come in if they impress in Scotland (Van Dijk, Wanyama, Ki Sung Yung, Fraser Forster etc) and Celtic would make a profit easily......so why not just pay the money???

 

Well Brendan said he sees MOUSSA still moving on in the summer so if this lad keeps up these performances why not make it permanent.. Dembele's sale will be 3 times what the fee for Edouard will be

 

Aye theres is a clause in the loan deal that says we have first option on him but the it's a bit pricey a
@€8mil if dembele is sold @the end of the season then it a bit of a no brainer imo mind her only just turned 19 defo would sign the boy is dembele is off

 

Don't see why they wouldn't sell him to us, with some sort of by back clause inserted into the deal.
