He isn't being linked on his ability and bcoz of his last name people are wanting it to happen bcoz it's certainly not on his goal scoring ability.

He was named in 26 man squad for euros last year he couldn't even make the 23 man match day squad 3 out of the 4 games so there more than isak keeping him out of their team. Maybe Jan Anderssen is a member of follow follow too or maybe just * maybe he knows more about football than someone who watches YouTube clips.

I don't really care if he plays for Sweden or not.

His record domestically is strong enough to suggest he'd be a great option to help with all three attacking positions.

Jota done nothing of note before us.

Giakoumakis had literally one season of scoring goals and otherwise struggled to score more than 10 goals in almost every season in his career prior to it.

Abada wasn't doing anything like what he finished on with Celtic.

Maeda literally also done nothing until the season he had with us coming off one season in Japan of scoring goals.

But Larsson doesn't play for Sweden so he's not good enough

 

What part of his domestic record do you think makes him good enough for a champions league team?

I mentioned the Sweden thing bcoz their manager doesn't seem to share your opinion that his domestic record is good enough to give him game time.

Abada and Jota, both several years younger than Larsson.
Maeda and Giakoumakis were both guys that Ange knew

 

And yet not one of those players were doing consistent numbers like Larsson.

But I suppose they were all so unquestionably good enough for Celtic because either Ange knew them or they were just young.

Bare in mind Jota is 23, Larsson 25.

Just because someone doesn't play international football doesn't mean they aren't good enough.

Jota was 22 last year, Abada was 19. Both were signed bcoz had shown obvious potential and have been proven right.

Larsson is 25 and hadn't down a great deal in his career.

If he's not good enough to make the bench for Sweden then he's not good enough for Celtic.

What potential have they shown.

You know Larsson would have been 24 right? There is barely 2 years between them. That fact does not change at all

His record is strong enough and far more consistent than that of Giakoumakis for start to suggest he'd be a good option to have and especially utilise and rotate with Abada on the right. But the added bonus is that Larsson would be adept in any of the three forward positions should issues arise with injuries, international call ups (seeing how he doesn't play for Sweden after all) and anything else...like rotational needs to keep squad fresh as we hit busy periods.

Your fascination about his international record to prove he's * domestically is a nonsense given his domestic record should speak for itself. His numbers are good enough to be an upgrade on Forrest alone as a RW.

Whether we are interested or not is another question entirely altogether which is separate to him as a player and his quality.

By your Sweden metrics, we should have never signed Starfelt. He’d only made 3 starts for Sweden when he joined us at the age of 26
