I agree and we need more physical players which they aren’t that type atall.

Tbf hes played for 3 decent enough teams at a young age and played a decent amount of games in each loan ( blackburn , anderlecht , stoke ) could be something in it , at 6ft2 he is a good height and at 20 he has played 59 games in good leagues.

Not much footage of him online. But he made his debut at 18 and as above, has had good loan moves. Someone Mark Lawwell will know of well.

No issues with us utilising that link.

20 year old centre back who was mainstay in the Stoke team for the remainder of the season? Certainly looks a good prospect and has played enough games to be able to come in and make an impact. Whether he is good enough to replace CCV/Starfelt is another thing but would definitely take him over big Julien. You would imagine we could save quite a bit on wages and we could get him for a decent enough fee. Also has significant potential to develop further up here.

    * it I'd take him...seems to have had more about his career already at this stage then Urhoghide did with Sheff Wednesday.

Sounds like he could supplement the squad nicely.

With anges style and demands, we certainly need a squad size capable of rotation without too much of a drop in quality.

Next season is gonna be even more demanding than this season.

Wouldn't want to compare them but the huns got Bassey from Leicester City's second team. He's done alright for them. Some decent gems to be found down there. This boy is obviously playing at a much higher level than the Premier League two players and they want to put him into much more competitive games. Stoke fans liked him this year. Looks a good signing provided it's a purchase or loan to buy option. If City see him long term at the Etihad, move on. I don't want players here for the benefit of other clubs.

Chart of Championship CB’s. Shows he’s a progressive CB. Would like big Harry Souttar. Make the derby interesting at the Souttar household :56:

Seems like he’s got a good passing range. Something we need to add.

Would prefer a left footer but seems decent.

Need to remember he's only 20.

Insanely young for a CB at that level. And he's already over 50 Pro games and a loan spell at Anderlecht behind him.

Quite like the sound of this, but wish he was left footed. Big, ball-playing, young enough that he won't mind fighting for a place but with good experience at decent clubs. Got a feeling this will happen.

Edit: just saw there's nothing in this except the ETims post, so probably a load of *.

No criticism from me, just relaying what the Stoke fans are saying. I did note that the Stoke fans commented on the Blackburn fans saying he was impressive and a future England captain.

Harry Souttar would be a beast up here. Would love him. Easily one of the best defenders in the championship.

I would be a bit concerned that he seems to only win 55% of his aerial duels, especially considering it’s probably the biggest weakness in our team.

Aye that is a concern considering he's a big guy as well. Like his range of passing and how he stands up and wins the ball without diving in a lot..

Is he quick on the turn?

Any idea's if a loan or permanent?

Had 3 good loan's at a young age and got his first cap for the England 21's where he was captain as well at the end of last year..

Harry Souttar at County was one of the worst defender I’ve seen in this league :giggle1:
