He hid tonight, out of all our midfielders I would have expected him to be the one to get on the ball and try to take the game by the scruff of the neck but he never.

Maybe his worst game in a Celtic jersey today.

He looks absolutely void of confidence. Passing dreadful, lapses in concentration and dallying on the ball constantly.

I don't think he needs replaced but I think we have to start rotating a bit when players are out of form.

Same for Johansen, GMS and every other player going through a bad patch. We have plenty of options.

True but who is an option to replace Bitton?

Armstrong or Mulgrew.. We need to buy a proper holding DM..IMO

This place is unbelievable, he has a couple of poor games by his exceptionally high standards and folk are wanting him dropped, get a * grip.

    Bitton looks ponderous just now.
I quite like that John McGinn of Hibs.

He is young tho and playing him when he's not performing could do him no favours.

Nothing wrong with dropping a player when he's playing poorly mate. If he had been dropped instead of being allowed to play those poor games we might be in the champions league by now.

I'm a massive Bitton fan But it's madness not drop an out of form player.

    Dropped/rested/removed from the firing line.

Whatever you want to call it, he is in a rut and needs to get out it somehow.

One Izzy is enough for me in the team, I'll stick with youth and McGinn :bbpd:
But we could easily rest GMS,Bitton and Johansen( glad he was dropped today, really glad), and bring in Allan, Stokes and Armstrong.

People wanting Bitton dropped, madness tbh.

I didn't catch the game today, but he must have been absolute garbage to get this sort of reaction :smiley-laughing002:

International break now anyway, so maybe a wee rest will do him good.

Everyone has been jizzing over Bitton recently and he's been an early candidate for player of the season. I said it during preseason.

A couple of bad games and everyone loses their minds, it's pathetic.
