If you weren't such a keyboard warrior your posts may carry some credability... But they don't, so stop letting that bulldog mouth over run that puppy dog *. There's alot better ways to get your point across than having to swear and personally insult people all the time.

As for Lennon... i didn't see the penalty claim, i just briefly saw him squaring up to Stokes(think it was anyway), then him giving the ref and linesman a mouthful of abuse... Personally i'd be embarrassed if Darren Dods did that, so i can see where the OP is coming from!

If Lennon wasn't a die hard Celt and didn't hate Rangers as much as you lot do... would you be sticking up for him after all he's done?

    All that he's done?

The perception that somehow Lennon is a persistant troublemaker is wrong.

His disciplinary record since he's been at Celtic has been exemplary for a player who plays in his position.

It's only because he is so high profile and every incident is analysed to death that poeple think he is always causing trouble.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I appreciate his contribution to the side regardless of his religion or the fact that he is also a Celtic fan.

yes because he did nothing wrong today, he was right to give the ref abuse AFTER being sent off for which can only be described as nothing

Being abusive to referees and officials is not part of his captaincy. All he does by mouthing of is get himself in to more trouble, and possibly even get the club into trouble. Not to mention the media coverage incidents like this get. If he learned to bite his tongue and said what he had to say behind close doors their wouldn't an issue. Afterall calling a referee a c*** isn't going to make him change his mind is it? He's just seems to like making problems for himself.

You get suspended from work, you start mouthing of to your supervisor like Lennon did. Refusing to leave and calling them every name under the sun... What do you thinks going to happen? Good chance you'll lose your position and possible reported to the police and charged. Why should it be any different on a football field?

Just watched the replay, it's pretty clear that Lennon was reacting to Stoke being in his face and knocking him down after he was getting up from being decked the first time.

Pretty sad when it takes three of yas to take him down, and then filthy Falkirk follow it up with another * move.
