    Worst performance this season.

Still has plenty of credit in the bank though.

Felt sorry for him tonight, reminded me of when we were * under Lennon and would just give it to Frimpong and hope for the best.

They scouted him well, knew he was coming inside every time.
Saying that, he was still our most creative player with almost goal of tournament first half.
    Pass marks, just.

No help from AJ all night and the midfield never really supported him at all.

Thought he was good still. Put Kyogo and Hatate in first half. Had a good run of his own too. Not gonna score and assist every game ffs, especially in the CL. Think folk forget we are up against top sides in this comp. Brugges are no mugs.

Great performance by Brugge. Did the exact same against Villa and came away with the win. Almost did and probably should against us tonight. Hopefully we look back on the draw as a good result after this stage is finished

Could have avoided the own goal situation with a little more vision from him, if he switches play then we have two free players ready to start a counter, instead he ran backwards to our own box.

If he wants a germany call up he needs to see that pass across field, even if it fails at least its away from the danger zone.

We struggled to give him possession in good areas. Too often he was receiving the ball deep and they had a lot of men behind the ball. Couple of moments second half when he had their full back one v one, but he struggled to beat him. Wasn’t awful, but didn’t really have much impact.

For me the blame lies with midfielders too, we do that move where there is someone that gets close to him and a little slip pass and we are breaking on the other team, no one showed for him at all, McGregor stood next to their captain and Engels wasn’t even in the picture.

CCV just made a mess of it after that, if he was going back like that it should have been towards the corner flag and Trusty would have been able to pick it up no problem. Even then if he loses it as he would have been pressed it would have been at the corner not kicking into our own net.

Schmeichel did seem to take up a really wide position but I think that was so CCV could have just rolled it to him with the outside of his right boot. Although I come back to the old analogy of if in doubt in that circumstance clear your lines. Yes it’s not how we play but you don’t pass it back within the width of your own goal. It was just such a Celtic in Europe goal to lose.

They had set up to snuff him out the game, they knew how much of a threat he is when he gets going. It worked for the most part

Nicolas Kuhn is proving at Celtic that patience is a virtue.

It wasn’t so long ago that some were questioning Kuhn at Celtic and whether he had it to perform for the Glasgow giants

The 24-year-old joined during the January transfer window when Brendan Rodgers’ side weren’t exactly playing pretty football.

Yes, Celtic were still top of the league and would go on to win the double, but the performances were off-colour and scratchy.

The wide players were struggling, Mikey Johnston was loaned out to West Brom – and then eventually sold – and fans were looking for that bite and spark in the final third

In came Kuhn, but he wasn’t able to provide it, as he looked and played like he was a level below, but there was good reason behind it.

The German had dental issues, which meant that he lost a lot of weight, so that isn’t exactly helpful to your cause, added to the fact that you are joining a team the size of Celtic midway through the campaign.

But those from the outside don’t always see the whole picture and Rod Stewart was one of his critics.

It’s pretty ruthless and perhaps unfair, but Stewart shared that he told Celtic chairman Peter Lawwell that ‘Kuhn isn’t going to last’.

But it’s fair to say that the all-action winger has shut many critics up because he is smoking teams up and down the land now.

Whilst Celtic-mad Stewart doubted Kuhn, one man who continued to back him was Lawwell and he did that in a conversation with the Rock star, as he shared on talkSPORT.

Some of the recruitment again, I like Kyogo, I think he is a proper goalscorer,” said Ally McCoist. “But Kuhn on the right-hand side, what a signing he has been.”

Stewart responded: “Yeah, he has. I remember he got off to a really bad start. I remember I said to Peter Lawwell, the chairman, I said ‘he isn’t going to last’.

“And Peter said ‘just give him a chance. He had all his back teeth out and he’s in great pain’. But, my *, has he come through?! I just hope we can hold onto him for another season

Celtic’s recruitment was coming under fire last season, mainly because players needed to settle in, as did Rodgers again.

But now it is proving its worth and Kuhn is the prime example of that.

They done it very cleverly as well, they done their homework on us. They stopped the overlap to support him from AJ, and on the other side they cut out the option for Taylor to support the midfield.

Kuhn when he got subbed, for the last 5 minutes we had actually started to work the ball to him up the field. I wanted him subbed before then, thought it started to bring him into it then the sub happened.

Wonder why we done that, because McCowan was the guy warming up going to come on, and Hatate needed subbed. Then it was Yang for Kuhn suddenly. He looked like he was limping slightly walking to the dug out.

Thought Johnston was terrible in supporting him Brugge were smashing that right hand side and am sure their midfield 3 dwarfed ours in physicality our guys couldn’t get by them …. We totally played into their hands tactically surprises me that a experienced manager like Rodgers is tactically naive at times when it comes to Europe probably because of his philosophy

Not sure about that, Vanaken is huge and Onyedika looked strong as *. I thought they dwarfed us physically to be honest, looked stronger and a yard quicker in most areas of the park.
