    Powell is a midfielder not a striker, therefore its no surprise his strike rate isn't as good as Hoopers.

    Also, i wouldnt consider the original article a bona-fide link. It looks more like someones made a wish list from dodgy rumours.

    Talkin about a * goal scoring rate scepovic's career dosen't look good apart from this last season, even although powell is a midfielder i'd rather play him up there than some serb with a hefty pricetag n not too many high level goals! Dont like the amount of loans but powell for a season would b class!

    You'd play an out and out midfielder with little experience of playing upfront ahead of our new striker who scored 23 in 40 last season, without even giving him a chance?:97: Unreal.


    Anyway I wouldn't take anything from this, it's just someone made a list of all the players we have been linked with over the summer. I doubt we are interested in Powell.

    Actually read about him last night in Fergies book & in that Fergie was adamant he was going to be a star, so when he's endorsed by him you've got to consider it.

    On the other hand, if he can't get near a shocking Man Utd midfield it could be a waste of time.
