    Why else would you complain about the appointment if you never knew what he was all about?

    Yes, it's the ridiculous prices moreso than the players. Theres a few decent mid table epl players in that list. Chadli especially was a good buy for WBA.
    I've just gotten fixated on that 'initially across the summer' comment. Hopefully this kick starts things.

    Have all been good signings. Burke was a 15 mill project that EPL side's can afford. Sturridge a loan gamble worth taking. Chadli a Belgian international..

    Livermore was getting capped for England at West Brom..

    Nyom was a * signing for them..

    Phillips has been a good signing for them..

    Nowhere near as bad as made out. Bet his Reading one's are better. Anyone got them?

    Staggering how we can't get anyone in with a clear plan though and still having to do short term work to see it through. Was loan's last window and now a temporary director of football this window(or whatever his status is)..

    So the guy we are bringing in, short term, to help deal with our recruitment won't actually be employed to do any work for us for another 10 days?

    Few questions Celtic,

    1. Is this admitting that either we have * up head of scout or Lennon is not capable of doing this aspect of the job?
    2. If the lead guy for our recruitment this summer (Celtics words) isn't due to be employed to work for us till 1st of July, then what have we being doing till now? What are we intending to do for the next week and a half?
    3. Who sanctioned the offer for turnbull? Again, if this guys to fix our recruitment, then are we equally admitting we probably shouldn't have been chasing Turnbull?


    * shocking and *, yet again by the club.

    DoF is a good route to go down, but we need it NOW! In fact we needed it 8 years ago.
    Not a month after the window is open, not short term, and if it is short term, not someone with a England only outlook with no time at all to stretch his own scouting net.

    "We're working very hard" was the statement yesterday regarding bringing in signings.

    Yet today we appoint a temporary DOF to help with summer transfers? Was he working very hard with us before even being employed? Or is the "hard work" just starting now? But he's not even starting work for 10 days haha/ Were we doing everything without him and now just bringing him in as well, or was it going so poorly we've made a desperate temporary appointment- but one who doesn't start for nearly a fortnight?

    Terribly disorganised.

    Not sure I picked him up on that part, but if I did/see it I think most maybe would assume we had stuff going on just now as well.

    Quite literally don't expect a signing till the 5th July at this rate.
