Umbro make cracking quality jersey's, however they are a low profile brand - even moreso nowadays than in the early 2000's.

Honestly hope it is Puma or Adidas, moreso Puma. They have made excellent strips recently and seem to want to acquire big brand teams, Arsenal being their flagship team im sure. Also would leave our hoops unbroken. Adidas would still be great.

Would allow us to sell more and gain more exposure.

Edit: People laugh at Warrior, however even they would be better than Umbro. At least they are big in the U.S. and are willing to pay big. If ts Umbro, we are going to get a whole lot less than £6m a year (Nike deal).

See to be honest, I couldn't care less about that. All I care about is that some good looking, good quality Celtic strips are released for me to buy. The best Celtic strips I've ever owned were all made by Umbro so I'll be delighted if they start making our strips again.

Umbro does seem like a bit of a comedown from Nike.

 

Well, they are now. Don't look at it romantically, look at it objectively. They are not the brand they used to be 10, 20 years ago. They had no chance of getting the rights to make Man United kits - they just do not have the funds. If we go with them, I doubt they will pay us that much.

Primark in terms of exposure but they do make good quality kits.

Aye, I still have a few Nike tops and they are in better condition than my Nike Celtic kits. That was a huge plus point - how resilient the tops were. I just worry about our finances, can we really afford to lose another couple of million.

Just seems that every league is upgrading and getting more and more, whilst Scotland is downgrading, downsizing and just becoming lesser.

 

Nike own Umbro btw. And I like Nike. Gives us a kind of premium factor.
