Anyone else in here think we should be looking for someone to replace Gordon this season, or at least put up a strong challenge?

Don't get me wrong I think he's a decent keeper and he has had some great games for us.. but there's a mistake in him - and often at the worst times too (see Inter ffs).

He picked it up towards the tail end of last season, however I thought he was pretty * overall domestically and in Europe.

Am I being too harsh on him here? Would like to see people's opinions

No. Gordon is one of the better keepers we could realistically sign. I wouldn't want to take a risk and get rid of him in favour of the 5 or 10 keepers that are better we could realistically attract at Celtic. Bailly is decent too. Some people seem to have written him off for no reason.

He needs strong competition at the very least, starting now..

Who says get rid? Just replace him with somebody better and if he wants to leave when he's proven to not be our number 1 fair enough.

For me he likes the "Hollywood" save too much. Makes simple saves look rather theatrical. I remember being really disappointed with him in the Malmo games as well.

He's a great keeper but you are right in saying that cause last season he did have a couple of stinkers in crucial games. I would imagine that would be left until January... Any positions that aren't priority. So if he's not performing to well until then I'd say Bailey will get a couple runs and if need be the manager will look for a new keeper. I can see Gordon impressing Rogers and having a good season though

His kicking was almost an assist for the opposing side's last year for a spell..

His biggest weakness is his distribution overall, in my opinion..

West Ham have put Randolph on the transfer list...2-3 million would get him.

PS I voted no... Gordon has done well..

If we could get Randolph that would be brilliant he is an outstanding goalkeeper. I would replace Gordon to be honest dont think he suits our new style.

No. He's a good goalkeeper. Went through a bad period last season(who didn't?) but he found form again in the 2nd half of the season.

I don't get voting no for this, we should be actively looking for players to replace everybody in the squad with better.

We have to prioritise where we do that. I don't think this is a priority right now and I'd be surprised if Rodgers disagreed with that.

Not sure I can trust him though. Whichever way you try to disguise it he did cost us the Inter tie, and he was very suspect in the qualifying rounds last season.

No. He did have a bad spell but has overall been very good.

I hope that everyone has been given a huge confidence surge and will revel under Rogers this season.

I think we need to take our chances if they come, I would be pretty * angry if we let the new Buffon slip through our fingers or the new Larsson,m because we had adequate options in place.

We should prioritise anyone who can take us up a level.

We should always be looking for the opportunity to get better. Similar to us signing Wanyama when the midifield was by far the strongest part of our team but it was a signing that was a relatively low fee that took us up a level.

Fair enough. I'm not disguising that. But let's not forget without him we wouldn't have got as far as Inter. He was sensational in the groups that season

He's no reliable, kicking is the worst I've ever seen from a Celtic keeper, he let us down badly last season when we needed him - definitely need to replace him with someone cap capable.

If they come up then aye fair enough but I don't think we should be going actively looking to replace Gordon. Personally I don't think he'd be easy (or cheap) to replace. I wonder if we would have signed Wanyama if he couldn't play centre back. Will never know I suppose.
