He was never , ever a Celtic fan . He had Celtic supporting cousins who came to games and he's tried to piggy back on to that and claim he was a Celtic man . It was cringe even at the time, he looked embarassed saying it.

He came here an out of work manager , earning the square root of * all per week, a bit of a joke figure among English fans. He came here , pulled the wool over our eyes, got 3-4 million quid a year , rebuilt his reputation and left us in the lurch at the first opportunity.

As you say , a snake.

That's a very good interview. I really like his humility.

Just a thought but might Brendan have been approached initially by Leicester, thought ..No, but then factored in Neils immediate availability ?

If BR waited till the season was over Neil L would already have been signed up by a Championship or US /Aus outfit.

Now we have a top bloke and one who, like us, loves Celtic and despises the Ibrox scum

Mate, no offence, but there's straw clutching and then there's this. Anyway this is the Lenny thread.

We are extremeley fortunate to have a successful manager ready made, tailored to the club, passionate about success, ready to slot in with minimal fuss.

    Its quite remarkable actually.

Put it this way. If youre a snout... youre cursing your luck that hibs * it with lenny. "Why oh why couldnae the * spoon burners jus keep the * * and then ra cellic would have nae manager! :triplomur"

Lennon is the absolute bane of their * existence and was * up their weekends with a depleted and threadbare hibs side. Theyll be cursing their luck.

    Theyll call it luck.

We call it providence. Lennon is back to finish them off for good.

Last sixteen..... Can't get any higher than that considering its been six years since we last got their... He's better tactically when we are up against it and his signing policy was better as well... Brendan was better at making players better but I'm sure Kennedy will have a blue print of Rodgers work
