Brown and Duffy will be his final downfall if they both start on Sunday.

I got no shame in saying I championed Lennon as the Rodgers replacement on here. I defended his appointment, I took great pride in saying told you so when he done a great job last season.

However, am not blind. We started the season poorly, ferenvarcos is a shocker. The poor performances against the zombies and Milan was a worry. Blowing a 2 goal lead to Lille and now a 4-1 loss to Prague was also honking. Loyalty has to be put aside. We need to act now or we simply will not complete the 10. That sincerely hurts saying that. At the age of 33, Neil Lennon has been a big part of my Celtic supporting life. I love the man but he is not filling me with confidence to fix the funk we are in. Of all years, this is definitely not the one to be looking so lackluster.

I know it's dangerous to sack Lennon now and move for another manager but I honestly believe it would be more dangerous to stick and again, that really really hurts to concede.

Lennon has done so much for the club and for that I thank him. But to stick with him right now will only end in failure I feel. We have to be decisive, analyse what's happened so far and make an informed decision as to where this is going. Make this decision now where we can still fix it, don't wait out of loyalty and regret it.

I haven't agreed with the "he looks a beaten man" *, but here he seriously sounds like he knows he is done. Questioning the attitude and culture of the dressing room and saying he can't defend the players is a big problem. Why can't he just put his own hands up and admit that he's to blame here too?

OK, it's late and I got 11 replies. I don't have time to reply to everyone. I hope this is representative:

Maybe till the end of the month.

    I am. I know that.

    I understand that.

Based on the fact that he's always done a good job before and doesn't become a bad manager overnight. Yes, I know you don't agree with my assessment of the job he's done before, but it's my honest opinion and I'd like him to be given time based on that.

Even if we won though, which obviously we should it just papers the cracks. All the evidence from this season demonstrates he shouldn't be in charge anymore.

If a was player I wouldn’t fancy a chain smoker telling me to keep fit I think that’s where the problems are stemming from

Defence defence defence, you cant win games giving away 3 or 4 goals a game, its so basic and they cant get it right. We play tiny teams compared to our budget and even teams in spl and they can and do defend but time and time again we get the gun out and shoot ourself in the foot.

This whole thing about the Motherwell game being a must win, yeah it is but for me it's went beyond all that, even if we win i still want Lenny gone, the same problems will still exist, they won't go away as long as Lenny remains in charge.

Right now he has zero credibilty, tonight was a complete and utter embarrassment.

his time's over i'm afraid. 1 win in 6 games, 14 goals conceded, 3 home defeats in a row for the first time in 30 years too according to the news.
He cant inspire this team, its over. get him outa nd use the next 3 weeks over in internationals to find a man to take us forward with new fresh ideas.

Mick will be thinking * why did I sign that contract. He'd definitely be a name in the hat if we lose at the wknd if he hadn't taken that job.

Few years ago I'd have said the same but not now. He'd definitely sort out that defense. I think he would have been a good appointment if Lenny was sacked!
