So basically hoping they aren't consistent and fall away, or the league is over ? Hoping other teams beat them, cos we can't, even though we have better players in literally every position ?

Only thing I'd say is, they'll get their bad luck with this covid nonsense at some point too, hopefully they miss a handful of players and drop points. Again though, it's wanting favours off other teams.

Nonsense.. they didn't even need to be at their best yesterday. Strolled it. Gerrard has Lennons number. They have a decent squad this season too and Slippy has been utilising it unlike Lennon.

And if you have your Hopes on us winning the league pinned on them IMPLODING...well that's just not good enough..

Also we have to think about last season when the season ended early, who knows what will happen this season so how much time Lennon has to turn it around is not even certain.

We shouldn’t be depending on this, we had to rely on Griff sorting himself out in January last year as the players brought in had no impact.

If it wasn’t for Griff and Eddy’s partnership we wouldn’t have had the strong run as we still looked defensively inept during that run hence we lost 3 goals at home to a poor Copenhagen team missing some of their main men.

We cannot keep relying on them falling to bits we need to go about developing our own style of play (again) and imposing that approach on them to make them worry about what we are doing.

There were no surprises in the way they lined up yesterday, the only surprise was they didn’t press us more, perhaps because they got the early goal. They didn’t play particularly well but did the basics and took their chances and possibly could have stepped it up if they had too.

Us on the other hand didn’t know what to do, didn’t ever put them under any sustained pressure and were so pedestrian and amateurish it was scary (much like the cup final last year).

The warning signs have been there for a while now but we haven’t even attempted to adapt to them. That’s 4 big games since we lost to them last Christmas, three of those at home and we’ve lost all three and drawn the other (Copenhagen A&H, Ferencvaros and Them) in all of those games we have actually only been in front once.

We were extremely lucky away to St. Johnstone and if (ironically) Griffiths had not scored that 90th minute goal, I believe Lennon would of been sacked for this.

That was nowhere near their best.

They managed to come to celtic park and win 2-0 without even lifting a finger.

    Open your eyes.

    What makes you think so?

The only thing I’ve seen even suggested as ‘evidence’ here is that it’s happened previously. That in itself isn’t evidence at all.

Honestly, considering the way we’ve been playing thus far, and the fixtures we have coming up, we’re more likely to implode for me. They simply look much, much better than we do this season.

Lenny got the team wrong, the tactics were wrong or not implemented correctly, and as much as we are all * off with him at the moment i will offer this one bit of criticism to ALL our players

We expect you to leave it all on the pitch.. every game - not one single player has looked like they have done that this season with the exception of Frimpong who is doing his best for a young lad

Instead of leaving it all on the pitch most of our players have left 80% of it in the dressing room

The players must take the blame for that and Lenny must take the blame for letting the lazy Bassas get away with it every week

If our fans gave the same effort in supporting the team the players would be playing in front of about 6 thousand every week.. and why should the fans sing for 90 minutes? should we just sing for the first three minutes and the final 9 minutes? because at the moment that is what the players are offering up to us as their best effort

aye, i'm still * off with the most feeble effort in our history... not one shot on target, at home, top of the table clash, against a side that perfomed efficiently but were nothing special on the day. And 1 corner so its not as if we even tried to put them under pressure

its going to take a massive improvement from everyone at the club to get this * show fixed.. and they don't have much time to do it or the gap at the top will only increase :(

Every hour I am checking for news of Lenny leaving his job. The * does not even know how crap of a manager he is. Not suprised considering he thinks this team is on par with MON's.
If he really loves the team and want to presever our chances of 10IAR, he should walk. But he won't because he knows he won't get a bigger job elsewhere.

In terms of replacement, seen Eddie Howe been mentioned. Had done miracles with Bournemouth and certainly would be an massive upgrade on Lennon. Unemployed at the moment certainly would be a good shout.

Don't think there would be as tactically inept as Lenny

Celtic hoping rangers will * up so we can win 10 iar......how proud we must be of our team when that happens.
They have out played us and scored more goals in europe while we scramble around with lucky 1 goal wins.
Signs have been there for a while and either lenny is blind of simply does not know how to fix what is wrong.
Yes we have had players missing and that played a part, but that does not account for 90 mins without a shot on goal while playing in our own back yard.
Unless something changes we are going to lose this season, and despite supporting lenny in the past im no longer sure he can fix this.

People should stop blaming Griffiths for him not playing. He doesn't pick himself. He could and should have started yesterday. He could and should have played again Ferencvaros. He is fit. Lennon is lying and creating a scapegoat as usual.

He knows exactly the crap of manager he is and that is why he won't resign. He knows his next job will be at League 1 at best. It's not out of "love for Celtic his here". Actually the biggest show of love for Celtic he could do right now is resigning.

Not his fault,he is without doubt a true Celtic supporter and was offered the job again. The Board wanted him back and what true Celtic supporter would not take the job again.True it has gone * up at the minute but lets see how he and the team react for the rest of the Autumn and then it may be time to get the knives out or indeed like i think put them away.

The board will not sack Neil Lennon so instead of whining and crying about how * he is we need a plan to get us back on track. We have to go back to basics.

Griffiths and Eddy up front. They proved last season they can play well together and score for fun, get them playing together.
Get James Forrest fit and more importantly on form. No matter what some say he is a huge player for us
    Drop Ntcham.
Consistently play Brown, McGregor, Christie and Turnbull. They are quality players, end of.
Get Rogic fit and on form so he is ready to come off the bench and make an impact. Our most creative midfielder.
Stick with 3-5-2. We will be ok defensively when we get El Hamed, Julien and Bitton back from illness/injury.

No point in blaming Neil Lennon for the all the worlds woes it will get us nowhere because he is going nowhere whether you like it or not. Crucifying Neil Lennon is a pointless exercise.
