2nd half miles better. Funnily enough with 2 strikers on the park.

    Go figure.

You'd think we'd already lost the League the way you're going on. We won that very comfortably today as you'd expect.

    No pleasing some people.

    Lessons learnt for Lennon today:

    1. We play better with a striker on the pitch. Having a midfielder lead the line doesn't work.
    2. We play even better with two strikers.
    3. We shouldn't sacrifice Frimpong for Taylor. Have Forrest on the left and Frimpong on the right.
    4. Brown shouldn't be an automatic choice in the middle of the pitch.
    5. Wednesday's performance was solely the responsibility of Lennon for failing to learn these lessons before.

Much better as the game went on and we moved away from the * tactics he seems to have developed this week.

He never won that game by proving his own point, we won inspite of it.

But let's draw a line under this nonsense Neil, back to normal when we resume.

Don't * about Lenny son, do the right thing, give the opposition more problems by playing the strikers, don't play players out of position.

We knew that already. But simply having a striker on the pitch makes us a far better team. It gives us a shape and focal point.

That second half really says it all.

One striker on the pitch? We look better and more threatening. Players know what they’re supposed to be doing.

Two strikers on the pitch? Even better. Opposition defence all over the place.

Frimpong gives us more threat than almost any other player.

Hopefully Lennon has learned a few lessons there.

    The costly experiment is over..

We play better with a striker on the pitch and our quickest ball carrier's..

Would like to think he learned a few lessons today i.e. play strikers and Frimpong from the start, and go out and buy a left back but who knows. Lineup was laughable as was Brown getting another 90 mins when he's well off it. Hopefully we're vastly improved and go back to they system that works after the international break.

He's not ready though. We've been very unlucky to have Edouard and Griffiths out injured at the same time.

It's who Klimala replaced which made us stronger for me. It meant Forrest, Christie and Ntcham were playing behind the striker.

Playing strikers made us look like an actual football team once again. It was obvious that Christie can't play up top as our shape is completely thrown off and Christie's movement in that position is far too hesitant. Klimala coming on improved it immediately. A game and a half too late though.

It isn't rocket science. Our league is poor overall with pretty poor defences..

Playing with an actual striker/2 quality one's/rapid pace on either side....is gonna drag team's all over the place..

Wing back's and 2 up top is what smashed this league to bit's..

Don't ever complicate it again. We may concede a few here or there but we will absolutely hammer and create bundles playing like this every week..

Edouard and Ajeti uptop, forrest lw, Frimpong rw, Elyounoussi and Christie behind the strikers with Mcgregor sitting, that is quality and would tear that league to shreds.

Can the supplement team with likes of Turnbull, Soro, Klimala, Griff if he ever returns.

Blitz this * league and lets consider this no striker balls to the pits of *!
