Didn’t really get the Elyounoussi one tonight, would have been interesting to see Bayo tonight to mix it up if we were planning on going direct. Hard place to go and 10 points dropped after 29 games in a transition year is an absolutely incredible return.

Just play Forrest as LWB and Frimpong as RWB.

Or try Frimpong on the left..

I like Taylor but he’s not a wing back, unfortunately.

    Agree with that mate.

I wanted Hayes to start there tonight after seeing him blowing out his * against St Johnstone.

You must be able to see why he done that. Look at the bigger picture. We're on the home straight here. Getting laid into the players in public will only have a detrimental effect. It's about getting over the line and backing the players to the hilt after a heavy week of games is 100% the right thing to do.

Agree to a point. He has learned a lot since his first tenure when he had a tendency to throw players under the bus. IMO, he was a bit OTT with his comments tonight - it wasn't a brilliant performance and we gave away 2 bad goals. Should have just said that we weren't at our best but were resilient and managed to get a point. He knows (as do the players and fans) that it wasn't brilliant - no need to make it out to be something it wasn't.

@St Matt - Totally agree. Gerrard has 'thrown his players under a bus' when results have not gone to plan whereas Neil Lennon has backed his players. One manager is 13 points clear in the league with a realistic chance of doing the treble the other is going to end the season trophyless. Come on El Capitan, get with the programme.

He played a defender at RB, one who has done a good job there before. We had an away goal to protect, Frimpong at RB was not the answer.

He played an unfit Brown because we had no one else to start a CM. No one in their right mind would have handed Soro his debut in a Europa League second leg game!

Jozo, well he got that one wrong, but the biggest problem there was not signing a CB in January, leaving us in a position where we had to start him - and it cost us, unfortunately. We were in control up until that point.

At the end of the day, we're on course for another treble, but in need of some work defensively (and I'd argue at CM too). How we do this summer will be something we can credit - or blame - Lenny et al for.

Suggest on Saturday we give him a round of applause after 7 minutes because that was his shirt number at Leicester

NL: “We’ve been playing superbly. Even on Wednesday the level of the performance was very high.”

NL: on Rogic “He made a great contribution on Sunday and Wednesday and he’s in the squad for tomorrow. Tom’s a great player he’s looking very strong and fit.

NL: on Corinavirus: “We have briefings every morning. We have to protect the players as much as we can.”

NL: “We want to play the games in front of full houses. The club will guide me on how to guide the players and my staff

NL: on Daniel Arzani: “He’s played a couple of development games and there’s another one next week. If he comes through that ok he may start to feature before the end of the season.”

NL: on St Mirren: “Jim (Goodwin) has improved them. Going 4-4-2. We’re at home. I expect them to be difficult to break down. I want a front foot performance.”

    Some manager.

In the history of Scottish football only O'Neill won at a better rate and only O'Neill and Rodgers won at a better rate domestically out of any teams.

Has won 8 trophies as Celtic manager (9 for sure soon and possibly 10) despite only managing us for 5 complete seasons.

He has also achieved the highest points totals from Scottish teams in both the CL Group Sage and the El Group Stage.

    :notworthy
