The hun game in December has taken the gloss off what has been a fantastic season to date for him.

The Cluj game was a sore yin but over the peace our European campaign has been fantastic up to this point, we have a genuine chance of further progression there as well. We've won the only cup available to us, still in the other and in the driving seat in the league. Our points tally is vastly superior to last season, we're the top scorers across the European leagues and we're playing some lovely stuff at times.

Always room for improvement but the relentless winning mentality hasn't dropped at all.

I think Rangers performance (PPG they're on course.for 94 points) has worked against Lenny. People just see they're closer to us and that means that perhaps there was question marks over Lennon. Which maybe there is in the way we approach games against them, but overall we've had a fantastic season as you've underlined. The reason they closer is because, truth be told, they're also having a very strong season overall. The fact they're on course for 94 points and we're still 7 clear says everything.

Aye he's doing a great job really..

An elite level manager probably wouldn't have collected as many point's as Lenny has at this point..

The league table is starting to look more how it should in my opinion..

The Huns have done well to hang on to our coat tails through December and then beating us with a possible game in hand to go 1 infront....naturally had many of us feeling edgy..

They've fell off with the pressure yet again whilst we've came back scoring for fun again and winning when the heat is on..

He definitely deserves a bit more respect (from myself included during this season). He's had a fair few poor performances, setups and subs...lack of but all in all it's been very good to date..

Had a lot of injuries in key positions but won the first cup up for grabs and in a healthy position with daylight in the league. More goals than anyone in Europe. In the knockouts of the Europa with a good chance of going through. Still very much on for another domestic treble..

    No bad at all..

Think it’s finally becoming his team and not a hybrid of Rodgers system and mentality..

The 3-5-2 formation can definitely work for us and it’s obviously something we’ve looked at during the winter break.

When Elyonoussi and Elhamed return to the squad it gives us another dimension too. Hopefully both new signings can make an impact too.

Still, long way to go... but it’s looking good.

Elyonoussi is closer, hopefully be in the squad soon.

Still a couple of weeks for Elhamed, I think.

on the injury front is there an ETA on frimpong , was meant to be only bruising - then it was a specialist he was seeing , has anything else been mentioned?

Didn’t hear anything about the specialist, probably get an update in Lennys presser tomorrow.

No chance he’ll be here next season. What a waste of time that signing has been.

I wouldn't get worked up about it.

There's obviously more to it than he's going to tell the media.
He obviously doesn't merit a chance.
Players like Morgan etc have even had a chance, so it says more about Shved as a character tbh.

Time to move him on. Another lad who wasted the opportunity to become something great. Prob thought he had hit the big time by moving to us. Alas no great loss to us

Naka had a full Japanese entourage everywhere he went. he couldn't go for a * without about a dozen people following. I dare say he had people that could translate for him, if he couldn't understand. However if Shved doesn't speak English, is making no real attempt to learn (don't know if that's the case) you could see why it would be frustrating the coaching staff as they can't get instructions to him about training or tactics quickly.

Pretty much everybody who signed in 2019 has been given chances under Lenny, people often get a few chances. There must be a reason he isn't playing and I'll trust Lenny t make that call.

NL: Motherwell are a good side and they play good football. We’ve negotiated the last two games against them quite well and we’ll need to be at our best tomorrow."

NL: They’re playing very well and it’s a difficult ground to go to but we’re keen to keep

NL: This squad is still young and there’s a vitality about it. Their character, mentality and fitness levels are all brilliant at the minute.

NL: "Edouard’s on great form at the minute. Griffiths has come back and is scoring goals. He got the 90 minutes under his belt and, psychologically, that’ll be great for him. I think it’s worked well and the two of them are enjoying their football together."

NL: on Frimpong: "We’re hoping he’ll be back in training on Monday."

NL: Boli’s had a bit of time out and he’ll be back in contention for the squad. Greg’s played very well and, at the minute, he’s first in line to play. We’ve got competition in all positions.

Aye, I don't think the 2 are comparable really. Nakamura was a 27 year old, established professional that had played at a good level for several years and at a World Cup, captained his side and clearly knew how to play the game.

Shved when he arrived was a 21 year old who had played around 50 senior games in his career and while clearly talented, still has some way to go to become an established player. A language barrier at that age when coaching and tactical sessions are so important is always going to be more of a problem than an established professional. Naka knew his part on the park, he knew his defensive responsibilities and he knew how the manager wanted to play; Lennon clearly doesn't think Shved does at this point.
