I got it massively wrong when I was didn't want him back. So far we've been absolutely brilliant under him. I think the Lazio win doesn't happen under the snake for example.

Don't mean to get sidetracked in Lenny's thread but these two quotes sum up the whole Dalglish Barnes situation. I've always blamed Dalglish for bring a rookie to Celtic because it was extremely disrespectful no matter his thoughts on Barnes ability.

I don't blame Barnes because he was a rookie, not even in the sense of Ronny being a rookie who admitted it was too big a job, Barnes hadn't managed anyone and Dalglish used us like a mate calling in a favour.

So when Barnes failed to keep us succesful after the paradigm shifting injury to Larsson, I think Dalglish being a * for leaving Barnes left shattered and cornered. It's difficult enough being a black manager nevermind a * telling you you're good enough to manage at the highest level straight away.

That's why Lenny was the best choice when some folk were thinking Rodgers level of signing was the new path when it was obviously pure serendipity.

Lenny is a mix of all those and none of those which is....different but the same for all of us.

Naw. No need. End of the season we will have won at least two trophies. No doubt about it. League cup and the league are won.

NL: "In the context of the group, it’s such an important game. It’s my first time in Rome so it’s very special. It’s a game we are very excited about and motivated for.

NL: "We know how big the job is to try and get a result but the players are in great form. We currently top the group and know that can change very quickly. We are here to try and get a positive result and we have a great belief about us."

NL: "Our players have played in intimidating atmospheres in Europe. We are here to play the game and not the occasion. We are playing against a very strong side and it’s an occasion we are very much looking forward to."

NL: "We’ve taken maximum points at home and a great result in France. We are top of the group and we want to try reinforce that position as the campaign goes on."

NL: "The atmosphere in the stadium at Celtic Park was fantastic. We expect more of the same. In terms of winning the game, we are going to have to play very well and take our chances. We are going to have to show a huge amount of concentration and quality."

NL on Callum McGregor: "He’s been absolutely sensational in the last few seasons. Consistency, level of performance, game intelligence and robustness. He’s been absolutely wonderful.

NL: "He can now settle and keep writing history. He’s 26 and his best performances, I think, are yet to come and he’ll be hugely important for us tomorrow night.

NL: "Bolingoli, Johnston, Griffiths and Rogic haven’t travelled and will be unavailable tomorrow night."

Performances at the end of last season were dire, but can't really complain about anything since Cluj. Maybe Livingston, but i feel that was more on players not turning up than tactics.

I can be a miserable * on here at times, but genuinely happy for him.

In general so far Lenny,s done well, top of the league,Cup final, and holding our own in Europa.

And while some of our performances have been poor for the most part he has us playing nice football and we have looked impressive at times.

I have to admit i felt he wasnt the man for the job when appointed but so far he has done more than enough to answer his critics, however as fans we have big expectations at this club and its only at the end of the season can we really judge lenny fairly,he knows whats expected and if he fails to deliver questions will be asked.

Till then lets give him our backing and see where it leads to.

FFS, the man is a genius.
I didn’t want him in the summer but delighted to see him proving me wrong.

I was one of them. Very very very happy to say I was a complete an utter idiot.

He's proved why he's the man to win 10

Made a * of the original shape and it was sorted before the half was over.

Streetwise, clever and more assured second time round.

Deserves every bit of credit going for that result tonight, phenomenal!

Got a * of a lot of criticism for not doing a lot wrong at times - deserves all the praises in the world.
