It's the constant going on about "yeah but covid really affected us", as if we were the only club in the world going through the pandemic.

An utter * of a man who will use any excuse he can find to deflect from his own lack of ability as a manager. There's a reason he's managing in Cyprus now. He's a dud.

Ironic that he's talking about being stabbed in the front by ex-teammates. Coming from a guy who threatened a woman with a knife.

 

Guys a * for sure.

Thing is, has he ever, just once, said "a lot of things went against us last season, COVID hit us hard, although I appreciate all clubs had to deal with it, we didn't deal with it properly due to players selfishness (boli) and the unfortunate circumstances from Dubai. In hindsight, Dubai trip was a mistake, a mistake we thought was okay as things with COVID had changed during that time.
In turn, with no fans, we also found it hard to get the benefit of the fans behind us, our fans at Celtic really are something special to us. But ultimately, I was the manager of the club and the buck stops with me, I should have been more ruthless and made bigger changes, but I was determined not to change too much during a season that was forever changing things and I wanted more than anything to keep as much as normal and consistent as possible."

If he said anything remotely like that, I think a lot of us would say - fair * Lennon, you * it and aren't as good as you/we think, but at least you've acknowledge things. Cheers for the memories, sorry it ended badly, see you at the next reunion.

It's mental that he STILL shoulders none of the blame but you'll have folk still sticking up for "Wee Lenny". The guy is a complete headcase

 

Probably marginally less Hun like than our jobby of an ex manager who quite openly and proudly admitted that he has nothing in common with our season ticket holders.

 

* knows what he said about season ticket holders mate but Lennon hates these sevco *. As a player he strutted his stuff at ibrox getting the usual racial abuse and worked it right up them on several occasions, even spitting on their club crest going off the park. I would say he has quite a lot in common with season ticket holders, maybe just me though.

Mate, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. My uncle stood on a bit of lego 5 year ago and he's never been the same guy since.
