    Not for me.

It’s not even how last season went on the pitch, it was his attitude.

I can safely say I feel nothing for the guy. Be quite happy if I never heard or thought of him again.

Hopefully he stays away from football and has a good life.

I still love him , he just wasn't a good manager.

It highlights the board more though , I'm a celtic fan , if I got offered it I wouldn't knock it back , cheap option , you're getting told what your buying etc

MO , Rodgers etc wouldn't take that pish from them , I think ange might be a Wim Jansen , win the league then they do it all again , hopefully we have learned.

As Sean m says , * the torys* no plural

I think it would have mellowed given time if it was just purely on the pitch stuff but not with all the bullshit he's came away with since leaving. Time has been kind to Rodgers I don't think it will to Lennon

As much respect as I’ve lost for him, and it’s a lot due to how he’s conducted himself after leaving us, surely their can’t be any doubt he enjoys seeing Celtic do well?

But, I get why people will react in this thread like that, because he’s keeping his name out there and making sure he’s still relevant by commenting on us as a Club, a team and a fanbase.

If he wants to get any semblance of reverance back that we had for him in the past - he needs to shut the * up and trying to judge a job that he utterly failed at and refused to leave when he knew it wasn’t working, going against his own definitive statement on it.

He was one of my favourite ever players and manager, and it’s not him failing last year that’s made me lose respect, it’s his * mouth.

He was part of almost every great moment I can remember for 20 odd years. I won’t forget that, but he’s a toddler in denial at the moment. A far cry from the intelligent football man he was in his first stint as manager or even the season we won the 9.

If he keeps quiet and away from us eventually people will respect his achievements when the anger subsides but he’s adding fuel. And I’m so disappointed with that.

Watching his interview there and seeing him blame it on the pandemic again, I just get a pang of relief that he’s finally gone from this club.

    Truly awful manager.

I don’t even bother my * to watch or listen to anything he says. He’s quite happy to blame the fans and players for the catastrophic failings of last season but not himself or the board.

    * him.

The refusal to take an ounce of responsibility is incredible.

That's it for me, if he had 'just' * it on the park we'd still be raging that we'd missed out on the 10 but we'd get over it, it's the * he's been talking and never taking any blame or responsibility for things that's completely soured any positive feelings for the man himself.

Well that at least confirms what we thought about Edouard's heart not being in it, though it was painfully obvious anyway. Is there anywhere to watch the full interview?

I can understand him not wanting to publicly take responsibility, as he’d just be ruling himself out of future work. It would be stupid.

That said, he should just say nothing at all. He’s making himself look like a *.

Honestly think he genuinely believes it. That’s more off putting for any potential employer I think. A guy thats had success admitting flaws and what they’ve done wrong and growing from that experience is a more attractive option than the one that’s blaming everybody and anybody except himself.

His determination and stubbornness was what made him successful at Celtic.

It's unfortunate he's using that same thing to keep blaming the pandemic for his failure last year. He's right it would of been a massive factor but that's where man management comes into play and how you adapt to the conditions.

Before he was appointed it was clear he only had a plan A and it worked the first time round. Wasn't going to work again..

Regardless, history will no doubt remember him as a successful player and manager. He comes out with some bananas stuff but his playing days and his first era management was a massive success.

His first stint as manager was bang average. Abysmal cup record, shocking points tally in one of the seasons, bottled the league in his first full season.

Aside from that CL run, I’d actually say it was a below par spell.
