    Hallelujah.

Hopefully we get some sort of explanation as to why it’s taken these * that are paid handsomely to make the big decisions so long to come to this decision, but I doubt we will.

Kennedy will get us playing a bit better then be offered the job full time in the summer most likely.

Not holding my breath. I'll wait until it's confirmed, but even then it's hard to get too excited about it now because the * show has dragged on for so long, and we still don't know what the plan is going forward. If there even is a plan.

He should swerve Glasgow for a long time after this..

It's brutal that if he stays in Glasgow and out and about/pub's etc that it'll actually be Tim's who are giving it to him rotten....and that's the nice one's..

Imagine saying that a couple of year's ago..

It's hard to feel sympathy for him for how he's conducted his self but I don't think he's fully aware of how bad the feeling and backlash will be for this season..

    Aw well..

You're right mate. We've thrown it away. But 9 in a row. Was because of Lennon. Celtic 2 Barelona 1. Seville 2003. Treble winner as player. Manager. He's done good. More than the * up. I forgive him. You don't have to.

    About 18 months too late.

Hope he never sets foot in Celtic Park again.

This is an utter travesty. How have we let it go on for so long? Why did the board turn it into a battle between club and fans? The way we've been treated by 99% of employees of Celtic has been an utter embarrassment.

If the rumours are true that he was holding out for his loyalty bonus shows how much of a * he is. He said he'd walk if things didn't pick up. There has been no positives this season. There have been no big results. We've gone from 12 trophies in a row to a trophyless season. From an uncompromising position of strength to losing the league mathematically in March at home to the huns.

Lennon, you're a grade A * of a man. The board are right up there with you.

This shouldn't be the end of it either, Lawwell leaving should be the start of the rebuild. Lennon is the next piece.

Time to rebuild and unite the club.

The most Sellick da post I've seen in some time.

I suppose 9 in a row was because of Lennon. It would have been 10 under a competent manager. He bottled the league in his first season in charge a decade ago and made a complete * of this one. We should have been going for 11 this season.

2-1 against Barca was a complete fluke of a game that you see every now and then. The fact that people still use that as a way to back up his managerial ability is laughable. That game could be played 100 times and Barca win it comfortably in about 95 of them.

I honestly hope he just goes away now and doesn’t get anymore backlash and anything personal.

He’s gone now, his footballing legacy with us is tarnished. That’s it, over and done now. Finished.

Maybe some time down the line he can be somewhat forgiven-ish, but now? A very warped relief...

Alot of it yes, and I agree he was out of order but some of the vile * said about him was out of order. We Celtic men like to think we're better than the scum across the city. Not anymore! Neil Lennon had the weight of the world on his shoulders this year. Alot warrented but us as supporters could have also dealt with it better. This season turned into a cluster * from day1 and like I said in my last post, he isn't solely to blame! It's just one of them things when your luck's down, sometimes there ain't * all ya can do.

And listen, I do believe he should have walked before xmass but at the time I did still believe he could have pulled it around. Hindsight is a great thing though.

Let the man leave with dignity. We dust ourselves down and regroup for next year. Were better than giving him all this abuse. You don't kick a man when he's down and that's the bottom line in it for me. I'm hurting as much as anyone here. * devastated we didn't achieve the 10 but that's football for ya. The sweet isn't as sweet without the sour. We'll be back and I suspect, back even better!

Strange timing but thank * he’s on his way out.

Will these * on the board give us the truth and a proper explanation as to why this inevitable outcome has taken so long to happen? I’m not holding my breath.
