Couldn't agree more. I really cannot believe that DD will consider keeping Lennon beyond this season.

However, speaking for myself, a simple announcement that Lennon is going will not be sufficient to entice me to spend money on the club.

I do believe that DD would wait until the majority of renewals are in - and then announce Kennedy.

At the very least, the club would need to make clear that no-one currently at the club would be the new manager.

Christ!! This is indicative of how low we have sunk: discussing whether you’d have hendry back! Jesus wept.
But I do agree on Duffy. A * mannequin would be better than that chump.

    It's criminal.

What the * are the board playing at? As you said, it must be a toxic atmosphere in the dressing room. Why would any of them want to play for a guy who continually throws them under the bus and is incapable of questioning his own ability?

Simply removing him, even if Kennedy sees out the rest of the season, would give the club a lift, I think. He's a cancer to the club right now. His sheer presence alone is bringing the mood down.

Hopefully when I wake up in a few hours I'll be hearing about a press conference at CP.

    Not holding my breath though.

I had a dream last night this was all a nightmare.

We interviewed multiple candidates after BR and settled on "Insert ANY * name". We made the CL groups two seasons in a row, and we were 15 points clear at the top, on track for the 10.

    Lennon was doing punditry
Slippy was on the verge of a sacking
We were looking at big big fees for players in the summer for a rebuild
    Lawell was retiring in June

    ....

How * difficult would it have been to make all that a reality?

    Not at all.

Tragic doesn't even begin to describe how far we've fallen.

Can't disagree with that at all. The club needs something positive right now. The biggest way to do that is removing Lennon. He is the root of all negativity at the minute.

DD is playing a dangerous game here. If he keeps Lennon in place, even until the end of the season, there will be a massive drop in ST money.

There's no way, we are getting back into watch live games next season either. We stumped up this year through blind loyalty and the desire to see the 10.

I don't believe for a minute that the support will do the same again, unless they remove Lennon and announce his replacement before ST sales begin.

Even the 10k waiting list won't stump up to fill the drop in sales...

Plenty of players struggle at a particular club or over a particular period of their career. If he’s shown enough in Belgium to impress there, it suggests he’s good enough to at least warrant another chance to do so here, particularly when we have such a massive rebuilding job on our hands.

I don't think it is 'pie in the sky'. No other Celtic manager since Willie Maley could have survived this run of results so there must be something keeping him in the job that we aren't aware of. No point speculating what it is as they won't tell us. We're just useful idiots to the Board

Lawell is a forward thinker who has wiped his hands clean EARLY of Celtic. Real train crash still to come.

Left lennon driving the train. Lennon to stupid to walk out.

Is there not a pre-match press interview before the game today ? Hopefully some journo will ask some very factual and keen observations about Lennon's "performance" over the past few weeks. Hopefully enough to make him spectacularly blow his top this time and get dragged away by the men in white suits.
