He won’t be here for the rebuild. Why would he be saying stuff like this?

A twisted part of me wants him in charge at least for a game next season when the fans are back so we can really show him exactly what the * he’s done to us this year.

Im starting to think the board have decided to keep the manager and clear out all the players who want to leave and do some sort of rebuild for next season. Lenny built a good team in the past and maybe with PL going the manager will be permitted to sign his own players. And maybe next season we will still be *.:54:

I think Lennon will be at the club next season but in a position upstairs - could he be part of the Director of Football or in a scouting position. He will not be first team coach.

Lawwell has been asleep at the wheel all season, we can't expect him to work on a Sunday.
If he's not too busy drawing up his retirement package he might do his job on Monday.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they give him a new deal.

Just to * the fans off more.

I can only assume he has some sort of clause in his contract that would cripple Celtic financially if they were to sack him, they've missed the boat for the season and can still aim for CL spot next season by finishing 2nd, which is essentially what the board really care about £££

what * reason could the board have to keep him at the wheel of a sinking ship ? again slaughtering the players ?

sadly for me its got to the stage i am wanting us to get beat now :( if we can go on a run of defeats maybe we can shame the shameless in to positive action of sacking him, instead of them allowing this * show to continue hurting our club everyday and doing untold damage :(

No danger he's here next season, none. Season ticket numbers will half instantly if he's announced.
He's only saying that to deflect and come across positive. He's hardly going to say 'don't ask me about rebuilding, I'm a useless * and will be out on my * soon enough'.

I doubt it. I saw a suggestion that he would be entitled to 300k in a pay off

Given the chat about Lawwell’s legacy - Surely if Neil Lennon, a manager who teams weren’t exactly queueing up to hire, has a contract that would cripple the club should he get sacked then that says all we need to know about Lawwell’s so called business acumen?
