I'm afraid that I agree. I'm certainly not getting my hopes up based on a BS rumour on here.

To be honest, I could live with Lennon for another 4 months IF a statement was made confirming that he was going in the summer.

However, given the announcement about Ben Davies signing, I am fearful that, not only may he be here until the end of the season, but - if we have a run in the Scottish Cup (final or win) - they may actually consider keeping Lennon for next year.

 

What announcement about ben davis signing?

This trip to dubai, i think theres more than meets the eye with it. Still not a proper explanation why duffy was sent home? Personal reasons yet in the line up a couple days later, im not sure on that one!!

Either way lenny time is up, but is the delay in replacing him because Lawell is stepping aside in the summer, and they know that they wont get the standard of manager until thats public knowledge. If so, just announce it now

 

Discussed this very point earlier with others. I have come to terms with Lennon being in charge for the remainder of this season and watching turgid games from now until then. I dread the thought that he's in charge for another season.

Hopefully, the prospect of poor season ticket sales will be enough to push him out the door. Along with Lawwell taking early retirement.

 

With a stingy control freak like Lawwell, I can see how a manager would struggle to get his preferred players in.

 

Must be away today, surely. Celtic social media starting to post at 7:20am, must be in for a busy day.

 

I doubt it mate, would love for it to be true but they’ll probably let him limp on till the end.

 

At least I expect Lennon to pick his own team until the season ends. He has no reason to obey the fat parasite any more. Should be out as well, but I'm sure the club aren't negotiating with anyone. Lawwell's stunt 2 years ago will cost us.

Been saying that on here for weeks. Liewells and DDs masterplan is thus: buy time/rideout the storm, bank on Lennon delivering the Scottish Cup and a meaningless win vs. Sevco when they've got hangovers from having a month on the lash celebrating winning the league. This will be sold as 'progress' / 'we turned the tide, it was just that ropey spell in November that cost us coz the best fans in the world weren't in the stadium to cheer the team on. Now hand over your £600 again cretins for our crappy stream....'

Have a sinking feeling that lawwell going is gonna be a premise for.. It wouldnt be fair for me to make any decisions on footballing operations with me going and that they have shelved the review
