Got to think they have been waiting/praying for some Rangers implosion. Rangers will hit a bad patch but it's too late and we aren't competent enough to capitalise under Lennon.

A poor manager, like Lennon, makes everything about the club feel worse than it actually is. Surely Lawwell and co. must see that cost cutting with a manager costs you more overall. Insane thinking.

 

Just looked at the league table there. It's embarrassing. Totally embarrassing. Forget the games in hand. There's no guarantees in these games. It's is incomprehensible that any manager would survive this with further backing from the board. Yey Lennon is untouchable. Keeping this useless,lame duck coach is seriously harming us in the long term. Zero prospect of any player signing permanently, turned down by Benkovic. There will be more like this, this month. Everythings in limbo. No planning, no strategy. No thought. Just back the manager, and hope the huns falter.

Untouchable and unsackable because he was brought in as a puppet to appease the fans this season.the cheap option, with hardly any say in transfer activity.maybe im the only one but i still think he is a good manager with an eye for a player. . Theres things that have went on that we dont know about which have * us this season .mayb one day we find out

 

Lennon was brought in for many reasons, to appease the fans was not one of them.

I know of very few Tims who wanted him to get the job.

And of the small few who did, they were those embarrassing Celtic Da types.

 

Aye the only way most folk were accepting Lennon getting the job was for the romantic sentiment of him starting and finishing the ten.
It should never have been given to him though, not in a shower and telling the world we dropped all applications in the bottom of a drawer without looking.
He shouldn't have been kept on after last season, writing was on the wall.
Shouldn't have lasted this long in to this season - will likely complete this season. Let's just hope for our sanity we manage to get ourselves kicked out of the campaign this year. (jokes guys)

 

Was watching highlights of the home games vs City, Bayern and Leipzig on YouTube earlier.

The team that beat Leipzig was a Rodgers side on the decline. Yet we still look phenomenal compared to the * Lenny has served up in recent years.

We have declined so much in recent seasons it is actually frightening. Really quite unforgivable considering the position of strength we were in. We've got to be the least pro-active club in Europe.

 

No point in him leaving now.

Should have walked or been sacked right after the first Sparta game when their reserves showed us up.

Some would argue he should have been gone before that but that was the moment that even the happy clappers, the ones that stuck around, started to gradually realise he had to go.

Be as well letting him see out the season and be forever known as the man that stuck around for the pay cheque and free holidays over what’s best for Celtic.

The board will never be forgiven either for allowing this to go on as long as it has.

Null and void is the only thing that can save our season now.

Majority of that I agree with. Null and void I can't accept. It was good enough last season for us to be declared champs and as long as cases are minimal in Scotland (football that is) we continue. The banter though if it happened. Hilarious.

The other point I disagree with is, Lennon Leaving now. That's an absolute. He is almost entirely to blame for this seasons *. In turn, players have responded as such. None of the foreign players seem to play for him or trust his methods. I don't believe continuing to self harm is the answer just because of stubbornness and lack of planning from PL and DD.

New manager should be brought in ASAP, let him assess the squad and add 1 maybe 2 before the end of the window. With a view to hitting the ground running for the new season, assessmbling his transfers early for a good crack at Europe. Whilst the end of the season pans out, off field issues such as scouting, fitness, analysis, etc should all be put in place.

Everyday this ineptitude is at the helm, is about a week we lose doing this, for the goodness of the club.

Lennon is not someone who I want around for any rebuild. Let alone off field rebuild as well. This has to be done with the implications of how brexit will impact us also.

This said. Lawell can * off as well. Parasite.

The last thing we need for our future is Lennon being able to hang around and drag the likes of Soro, Johnston, Turnbull etc. Down a level and have us hamstrung next season.

 

Why could you not accept it?

The scum tried everything they could to exploit a global pandemic to prevent what they couldn't do on the park - take our title away from us.

They were against games behind closed doors, against extending the season and against places being awarded in points per game. So * them.

Guys accept the fact that this is probably our boards level of ambition. Cannot see a coach of the level of BR coming to our club until such a time as our current board has left and taken their mentality with them. NL will be our level for the foreseeable future.
